Client Engager has made such a difference to how we run the practice. It keeps everything in one place, and has taken a lot of admin stress off our plate. It was built by an accountant for accountants, and you can really tell.
I also love that Johaan runs weekly webinars – they make it easy to keep learning, improve how we use the system, and feel supported. It genuinely makes day-to-day work easier.

I would stay away from as they had a price promise for earlier users that they have withdrawn and immediately put up prices by 20%. They can now raise monthly subscriptions whenever by giving 30 days notice. So you will be stuck with them because migration of information has to be done manually. Another rip of Britain company.

Engager.app doesn't get enough recognition. It is transforming my practice, providing everything I wanted and needed. The partnerships the app has built have advanced my practice more than some others. The only challenge I face is the pricing, but I am confident I will get it right. Thank you, Engager.app.

I’m not a big practice so I don’t even use most of the stuff the small monthly fee covers, but I still find it incredibly useful to keep tabs on client codes, dates and the LoE has been a life saver.

Set up
Having recently begun implementation of Engager across our firm, I’ve been impressed by several key features that mark a significant upgrade over our previous system.
Strengths:
Robust Infrastructure: Engager offers a well-built and comprehensive platform. While we’re still in the onboarding phase, it’s clear that once fully adopted, it will substantially enhance our operational efficiency across client management and onboarding processes.
Intuitive Procedures: The workflows and interface design feel intuitive and thoughtfully constructed. Processes are logical and clearly mapped out, reducing the learning curve for new users.
Extensive Learning Resources: The availability of numerous help videos is a strong plus. These guides are practical and detailed, which has helped with initial training and system familiarisation.
Areas for Improvement:
AI Help Bot Limitations: The AI support functionality has been underwhelming. It lacks the flexibility and nuance of a human assistant, and I am not sure yet on how to retrieve past conversations, making continuity difficult. A named human support contact – such as the helpful “Siobina” (name unconfirmed) – and direct telephone support would be much more effective for resolving queries quickly.
Lack of Hyperlink Integration: We’ve not yet found a way to embed hyperlinks within client data files, which would be highly useful for linking to external documentation or resources.
Transition Observations:
We are transitioning from Bright Manager (BM) to Engager. With BM, we bulk-imported approximately 600 clients but never felt we fully utilised its capabilities. With Engager, we are deliberately taking a slower, client-by-client approach. While time-consuming initially (the first client Proposal and LOE setup took a full day, and the second took five hours due to design and fee matrix configuration), we anticipate that, once our templates are refined, subsequent Proposals and LOE will be completed in minutes. Workflow implementation is our next priority, with the time module to follow thereafter.
Conclusion:
Although the platform can feel overwhelming at first, the system’s capabilities and long-term potential are impressive. With persistence and continued setup, we believe Engager will prove to be a powerful and valuable tool within our practice. Very easy to use
No other practice management software comes close!
Where would be without Engager.app. It's allowed us to build a solid foundation and with a strong community within there's definitely no other practice management software that comes close.
Engager was simple enough to set up
Engager was simple enough to set up. Once you get the hang of it. The only thing id suggest changing is being able to use the same email address for multiple companies/contacts as we have quite a few clients with more that one company.
Simple, mass communication
The Bulk email facility made it so easy for me to quickly isolate which clients needed to be contacted about forthcoming Co House changes.
The email goes in our colours and style so clients are reassured that the email is genuinely from us and largely, they responded straight away.

The software is 95% of what we need at the moment. But it's being improved all the time and the customer service is phenomenal. So glad we are moving to Engager from IRIS.
Very intuitive to use, great free trial access
Very intuitive to use, integrates well with other accounting software. Full access during the trial period, with no restrictions, really helped to cement my decision to use Engager for my business. Only downside was my GoCardless integration as my Freeagent software does not yet integrate with the Adfin payment system that Engager uses.

Engager is such a great one stop shop as a CRM system. Able to produce document templates, workflows, procedures etc. Fantastic value, and fantastically quick support too when you ever have any questions.
