If you use a variation setting in woocommerce that allows a single sku for multiple variations becuase they are all the same product with a different material for instance (meaning you dont have to have 100s and 100s of Skus) the variation will be called 'any material'. Foo Sales will not show them as variations meaning for foo sales to work with woo commerce properly you have tom create millions of variations. 5 sizes of a product with 50 materials means 250 sku for that 1 product that only actually has 5 sizes with many material options. This renders Foo sales rlatively useless, especially as there is no feature to add notes to an order to let the system know manually which material the customer chose for their product.

Support has been beyond expectations. A new industry standard.

This is the most effective online / retail woocommerce integration I have found and used. Not perfect by any means, but light years ahead of others claiming to be the leader.
The biggest shortcoming is not being able to send an invoice to a customer with a payment link if there is some issue at retail checkout. Have to go back to Quickbooks and do that manually.

5 years and counting using FooSales... Get it!
I have been using FooSales for about 5 years, I have seen changes and growth and all has been positive so far. We've had hiccups, but even the biggest companies in the world have that...
I use FooSales 6 days a week!
I have linked it to my WooCommerce and it handles my inventory very well without problems.
Any time I have had issues, the support team is quick to act (except that I am in the Middle East, where our weekends and FS company weekends don't agree, so if something happens on our weekend, it is 4 days lost).
Still I will continue to use and as of this morning, I have recommended to my sister (dentist) and I plan to visit there and set up a FooSales/WooCommerce combination for them.
Keep it up.

I had a great experience

I have used this POS for 2 tradeshows so far. I previously used the Woocommerce Point of sale and it was great in comparison. They discontinued so had to switch and thought this was the product to use.
Positive - By comparison only 1 - Split payments is a nice feature
Negative
Biggest negative is it doesn't assign Transaction IDS to the orders. This is needed for Myworks to sync payments to quickbooks. I shouldn't have to use Square or Stipe to make Foosales a useful product. Its on their list apparently but no ETA when this will happen. This should be key to any point of sale. If I have to cross reference 250+ transactions in Quickbooks because of this it will cost me more in my time to manually apply payments than this product is worth
For orders that aren't completed and you want to keep in processing it is hard to find.
Adding customers is a pain as well. All of this should be up front not after you have done the sale
This POS also doesn't give you the option of emailing the invoice to the customer. Just another step that would need to be done after the fact through Quickbooks or email. I am sure there are more things I don't like but those are the main ones. I am sure this will get better with time but my suggestions through the help sounded like a brush off and didn't want to take my suggestions into consideration. The only suggestion they mentioned on their list was the transaction IDS but that should already be a feature

Not happy and assuming I can't get my money back but if time and ease of use is a concern for you while at a trade show I would look for other options like I will be.

We are a very small business. Normally all our sales are online, but sometimes we do sell direct to the public - eg at markets. In order to do this, we need a robust and reliable POS solution that keeps our stock up to date for both online and POS.

Our previous solution was unreliable. Partly because it worked entirely online and so relied on a decent internet signal. We asked around, and tried various other offerings with varying degrees of success.

Someone recommended FooSales to us, and so we gave that a go. It takes a little while to download everything onto the tablet, but once it is there, it works extremely well. It synchronises with the plugin in WordPress in background, keeping everything up to date and accurate.

When we've had an issue (and that's not very often), the support has been first class. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this to anyone.

We operate a vinyl record store and carry 10 000+ titles at any given time. With stock constantly changing, and the in-flow and out-flow of records, we faced a huge challenge coming up with a stable and reliable POS solution that would correctly match stock between our retail space and WooCommerce space. FooSales solved this problem for us.

We signed up with FooSales early, and the plugin is updated regularly and is stable and easy to use. The support team has been very helpful. I highly recommend the plugin and it has been life changing putting it in action.

One other thing, perhaps useful to someone else - we actually really like FooSales from a stocktake perspective as well. I'm not sure of the exact term to explain it, but Foosales 'pre-populates' / 'has already downloaded' the full stock list and then does mini-updates automatically for stock changes. This means that searching for a product is instant, and we don't have to wait for a page to load on the backend of WooCommerce. So being on the floor and calling out for someone to check if a record is in stock is pretty much instant, and we don't have to search and wait for pages to load. This might sound like a small thing, but it is very efficient and has saved us a lot of time.

Transactions generally sync quickly with no trouble. I do have to manually sync the payments with Quickbooks Online because MyWorks doesn't recognize the FooSales payments.
