Very happy with my purchase
I ordered the Spontex full action corner mop and bucket set. It’s easy to set up and use, with instructions on the box. The bucket isn’t too big, so it feels very easy to fill and empty. What I like about the mop, is the ease of use. It is lightweight, and very efficient at cleaning corners and the whole floor. It’s very comfortable to hold due to the wider top part of the mop stick. There is more contact on the floor compared to a traditional mop head, and glides across the floor well. Attaching the mop to the bucket for cleaning and spinning is easy and quick.
Very glad a swapped my traditional mop for this one. It’s fun to use.
Faulty washups
Upon opening the box of sponges I found 1 good sponge , 3 of them had the green scrub part half pealed off . I did email customer service along with pictures but got no reply . Needless to say they are now 1 customer less along with many others I'm sure .

If I could give this mop 0 stars I would. The most over-engineered ridiculously useless piece of equipment I've ever used. Just use a proper mop and bucket and save your money! I've hurt my hands several times trying to use the stupid thing.

Aqua revolution..a total waste of money..it wouldn’t come up above the tag properly without a bit of force ..it didn’t clean the ‘mop’ very well..to be honest after 3 tries I went back to my other mop which is far better..
Spontex spin mop
Spontex spin mop is hands down the worst cleaning tool I think I've ever used in 20 odd years. Fiddly, bulky and leaves your floor soaking wet. Doesn't even rise the dirty water off that well. Save yourself, keep your floors reletively clean and a normal mop is just fine.

My wife purchased a spotex mop and bucket a few months ago. And already the centre spindle on the bucket is broken. Very poorly designed.
No refund received!…
I returned my item to an Asda Lincoln customer service point in November and in spite of several chase up emails have yet to receive a refund.!
Badly done Aqua Revolutions!
Do not buy this spin mop it's crap
Do not buy this spin mop it's crap, totally a waste of money!!!
Utter waste of money!!
Well I have brought a Spontex wand, filling is very difficult as it’s a tiny refill hole, presumably you lift the lower part of the blue cap to let air in to help but it makes not much difference, then the top part does not click in snuggly and you lose your liquid. Waste of money, never again!!
Bad quality
We used sponges for years. Since a year, the green side fall apart.
It's a great quality issue.
We won't buy spontex products anymore.
Spontex latex free gloves
I've used other latex free gloves for years for doing the washing up, without problems - saw the Spontex ones and thought I'd give them a go. Dreadful - everything (except plastic stuff) slips out of your hands when you're trying to wash it, and then again when you try to transfer to a drying rack. So slippery it could be dangerous - if you dropped glassware for example.
I emailed Spontex to complain - their reply just said they were sorry and they take customers comments on board. They went on to say that the gloves had slightly textured palms and fingers to reduce slippiness - what had I just told them?????

Sponge falls apart
Used sponges for years and have been brilliant but last few months they fall apart after 2 days of home domestic use. Not good on my pocket or environment. Please sort issue or loose customers.
Products just fall apart very quickly. Very poor!
Unfortunately after many years of use, I feel the need to share my recent experience with Spontex lack of quality, with the public. Like I said, I’ve been using Spontex Washup products (both Sponges and Scourer) for many years because they were the best and lasted longer than any competitors. However, I’ve noticed over the past few months the product quality isn’t what it used to be. Despite the packaging claiming in big bold letters, “STRONG & LONG LASTING” they are far from this. I’ve been replacing the sponge and scourer every few days because they just fall apart after only washing up with them twice a day. I’ll try to include photographs of the current sponge and scourer that I’ve been using for only four days. I’m now looking at supermarket ones because, surely they can’t be any worse. The only conclusion I can come to is the company, in order to make money with rising company costs, has resorted to using cheaper parts and glues. Really disappointed. Real shame that yet another quality company has lost sight of its reputation. Not too sure how they get an overall star rating of 3 and a half. Can I really be unlucky enough to be only one who buys all the faulty ones?
4 pack scourers were purchased from…
4 pack scourers were purchased from Waitrose, which I took to mean that this would be a ‘trusted’ product. My partner used one I realised, cos it was no longer dry, I asked if he’d knocked over a TCP bottle since the pad stank of peroxide, he said no. I then used a second pad in person, same outcome!!!! NOWHERE on any printed matter on packing or online does it say what these toxic scourers contain. To penetrate grease in a prolonged fashion it begs the question what is being activated within the scourer? Smells shocking and leaves a distinct smell on crockery...not eating off those dishes. Terrible!!!!!
Amazing Sponges!
Love the Washing Up Sponges and Scourers! They're super durable and get dirt and grease off efficiently and quickly!
Spontex Spin Mop
Spontex Spin Mop
Useless. Over the top bad engineering.
I have had over 40 years of large scale catering and industrial cleaning experience.Bought this for a small area at home, kitchen/ utility room, absolutely hopeless. Used it once and it's going in the bin. Not one good thing to say about this gimmicky excuse for a mop.
Spin mop
Spin mop, good housekeeping recommended? Don't know who tests the products £20 and a waste of money, can't use it in a hurry (something spills) can only fill the bucket half way, won't connect to the pole that's in the bucket to dip it in or spin it? Actually have to manually attach which means rubber gloves because the water is too hot? Sorry but it's now in the garden ready for the tip, please save your money especially now finances are bleak put the 20+£ towards your heating bills this winter.
Bought a spining mop a few months ago
Bought a spining mop a few months ago, probably used up to 10 times as we have cleaners, the idea of it is great however everything is falling apart, the whole handle is falling apart every simgle piece, it is so poorly made it s unbelievable! We were so excited when we got it, this is the biggest buy disappointment.
