You will learn what you need to know at Shoogle Studios! :)

I have completed both the nine week introducer class and recently the producer weekender.

Simon mixes (pardon the pun), a relaxed and friendly atmosphere with professional level course content, which I feel sets the standard for electronic music production training.

You will learn what you need to know at Shoogle Studios! :)

Top marks for Shoogle and Simon

Such an excellent experience learning to make Music from a guy like Simon at shoogle studios, so informative, easy to get on with and the classes fly by probably too quickly also the notes given out are gold to look back on. I had an amazing time during both beginner and intermediate courses. Highly recommended.

Weekend Producer Course

I attended the Weekend Producer Course at Shoogle Studios in February 2017. Simon Stokes is both an incredibly adept musician and a fantastic tutor, making this course absolutely essential for anyone interested in taking their knowledge of Ableton and music production to the next level. Simon has a particular talent for taking quite complex topics and presenting them with an ease of understanding to the group, and has really helped me improve my understanding of Live’s inner workings.

Over the two-day course a huge volume of material was covered, but it always felt like there was time to explore tangents, questions and ideas from the group. Simon was able to give really useful advice on pretty much everything; complex sound design, field recording in sound design, live set-ups, correct microphone choice, working with and processing audio, click tracks for live bands – the list goes on. For me it’s his insider knowledge and wealth of musical experience that makes the course so valuable. I simply cannot recommend this highly enough!
