Scam

They don't end you contract until you notice their support despite having terminated it using their website and of course they expect you to pay even tho the mistake is on their side

I would give -1 star if it was…

I would give -1 star if it was possible. 1 is also generous for this company. They don't reply to emails, customer service is soo rude on the line. and they also can't do the right calculations for payment. Its like they hired a people who can't do their job. Would never recommend this company to anyone

Choose a better option

The Service was fine at best but unhelpful and misleading. I had previously ended my contract because of some extra costs on my card that I did not approve or was informed of.
Service told me we could possibly recover the number but in the end couldn’t.
I would have preferred an outright “No” before I entered another contract and spend another cent.

I moved recently and ordered a winSIM…

I moved recently and ordered a winSIM DSL 16 connection, but it was registered to the wrong address. When the technician arrived, I found out about the mistake. Attempts to contact customer support failed, and when I filed a complaint, I was told the cancellation period had expired.

I then ordered a DSL 100 connection for the correct address, but no technician showed up on the appointment day, even though I was home waiting. Customer service ignored my calls and complaints.

To make matters worse, I received an email about terminating my telephone connection — which I never requested.

Due to repeated service failures and lack of communication, I decided to terminate all services. I urge others to be cautious and call for consumer protection authorities to look into winSIM’s poor service.

Worst customer service ever

I changed my contract with winsim and they changed me in full for two years for a sim which was cancelled. Tried to talk to customer service about this and was put through to the most rude person I've ever spoken to, who ridiculously said "the invoice is printed, you have to pay it". So invoices can't be amended? Will go to the Verbraucherzentrale to make a complaint and will find a new provider when my contract is finished.

Misleading, Pushy, and Terrible Customer Service

I strongly advise against winSIM. Their customer service is unprofessional and misleading. When I tried to cancel my contract, I was forced to call multiple times. Reps lied about having the “best network” and never disclosed hidden charges clearly.

Even after saying I did not want the contract, I was pressured to stay. They hide the 14-day withdrawal period and threaten you that you’ll have to pay for the entire 24 months if you cancel. They also try to lure you with “attractive” plans that are unreliable, failing on regional trains and subways — forget consistent coverage.

Overall, dealing with winSIM was frustrating, dishonest, and stressful. Avoid them unless you want endless calls, pressure, and poor network coverage.

Before you decide to get winsim, just be clear that it’s so cheap because of the poor quality! Wanna be for 1-1.5 hours on the call while the person on the other rend does a wrong thing? Than choose winsim! Or maybe wanna want for hours on the internet installation - technician doesn’t come and only after that you discover that the date had been postponed from the company for another 2 weeks without notifying you? Choose Winsim! Or rather pay some more money for a reasonable net and service

EU-Roaming doesn't work in all European…

EU data roaming doesn't work in all European countries. I've experienced problems in Belgium and Portugal, whereas it works in Germany, Austria, Netherlands and Cyprus. 2G calls work always, but no 4G/LTE data connection possible in these countries.

Service answers completely uselessly, they answer only with boilerplate text. They even didn't read my questions.

They sell data to Schufa

Both my partner and I had contracts with them for 3 years and finally left. But my partner still can't make them release the number and is just sitting without any connection for 2 weeks. I sat 4 weeks without access to my number as they decided to change my SIM for the new 5G one without my consent while I was travelling! To add, they sold our data and addresses to Schufa. They don't have English support. Their prices are high. And they use any opportunity to charge you a crazy roaming bill. So, don't recommend. It's just not a fair company.

worst customer service


-i opted for a 24 month contract. To cancel the contract I paid 104 euros (my mistake i agree). They verbally promised that would be the last amount i paid but instead delayed the processing and charged me two more months of fees.
-non existent customer service: all my emails were unanswered. Their no-reply emails send me bills every month and threaten with lawyer fees in case of non payment. Therefore i eventually paid. All my concerns were ignored.
-Accidentally turned on data in another country for a couple of seconds and boom 64 euros got deducted. Will never choose you again winSIM.

Illegal cancellation tactics

Don't start a contract with them. They make you "pre-cancel" your contract wait a random amount of time, then tell you to call their call centre, then give random details about your account. It's ridiculous. It's also illegal according to German law (§ 312k BGB in force since 2022) it should be as easy to cancel as it is to take up a subscription.

Bogus company

Bogus company. Sends you your bills way too late and then you can't book more data once you reach your limit because of "unpaid bills'. How can I pay if you don't send me the bill??

Caution, they dont care

Caution! We are (still) customers of Winsim and have had very bad experiences. Services ordered are billed, but not provided. Complaints? We only receive AI responses with tips. Five complaints, five nonsense answers from the AI. Refund? None!
