SCAM. Never give them your credit card information, they will charge money for ever, even if you do not use their services.

The handling of eSIM activation is a complete mess. If you ever need to delete your eSIM, transfer it to another device, or re-activate it for any reason, do not expect any real support.

You continue paying your bill, but you are left without a working SIM and no clear way to activate it again. Instead of solving the actual problem, customer service responses mainly focus on upselling additional products that have nothing to do with the issue.

The online portal is the only thing they keep referring you to, even though it does not help at all. The same unhelpful instructions are sent repeatedly. It is very obvious that no one fully reads the conversation history — replies are sent just to say “we replied,” not to resolve anything.

Extremely frustrating experience. I would not recommend this service, especially if you value reliable support.

They are scammers.

All of my invoices are paid, and I Just received a letter from the court about an invoice from August.... Which is already PAID FOR.

Stay away from Them!

One of the worst comany everrrrrr!!!!

One of the worst comany everrrrrr!!!!
we have a contract with them, the customer serivce was actually awful, My SIM card almost never had proper signal in most places.
When I turned it on for just a few minutes in Switzerland, the next month they sent us a €70 bill.
When I wanted to cancel my contract, which was about to end, customer support told me that instead of paying for a few extra months, they could change my SIM card tariff so the contract would finish earlier and I’d pay less.
A few months later, I realized this is one of the company’s scamming methods. There was absolutely no record of that conversation anywhere. They do this just to steal more money from customers.
And because they never keep any logs of customer calls in their system, once you realize you’ve been scammed — like I did six months later — there’s no one you can file a complaint against.
It’s an outrageously shameless form of theft.

Don't even think about getting their sim

One of the worst telecom services I’ve ever encountered. There’s no transparency, and customer support is utterly useless. They activated roaming services on my SIM and charged me over 70 Euros for using only about 5 MB of data. They’ve conspicuously hidden all the detailed information about this on their website. It’s a shady company, and I’m baffled by how the German government allows it to operate and scam its customers.

Shaddy company, stay away

No transparency, especially when it comes to billing while abroad. Be cautious: unexpected charges can occur, and it’s difficult to get clear answers.

Canceling a contract is unnecessarily complicated. Sending a written email isn’t enough; you’re required to call their service line, where agents take 30 minutes trying to talk you out of leaving or push you into switching tariffs instead. The entire process feels intentionally difficult and frustrating.
I would not recommend sim.de due to their opaque practices and poor customer service.

Nothing but trouble

Nothing but trouble
Paid every month while abroad, expecting to come home and just use my SIM. Instead I landed in Germany with no signal at all, couldn’t call, couldn’t use data — basically stranded.
No warning from sim.de that my eSIM would stop working after long-term roaming.
Then forced through a ridiculous process:
• Had to order a replacement eSIM,
• Wait for a letter by post with a code,
• Enter that, then wait again for the QR code.

Total: nearly a full week without service — all while I kept paying.
No sense of urgency from support, no real heads-up about this policy.
Not what I’d expect from a company that wants to keep customers.

Another horrible German company

Being a customer for over two years now (5 sims). Wanted to bring another number to them. Trying to contact them for almost two weeks now, all I get is automatic robot responses. Absolute disaster customer service, like most of the big companies in Germany.

Hidden Risky Costs

In my last travel to middle east, I just turned on my mobile and the mobile data was on. It took some seconds to turn it off. For these 2-3 seconds my mobile had used 3.8MB and they charged me 48 Euro plus tax. It is a dangerous hidden cost and not reasonable. They charge per KB for oversees and the price is of course designed for misusing such cases. I am going to terminate my contract now.

Don’t be fooled

Don’t be fooled, this company has hidden fees and when we want to cancel they make life difficult. Also be careful with promises of upgrade at same fee. You will be stick with them for 2 years more. Very dishonest practices.

The worst phone service provider Berlin

The worst phone service provider in Berlin. There is no Internet service on the card though the contract is about Internet service. I received an email from them that they cannot provide Internet on the postal code: 12555 Berlin. Did they NOT know that when we entered the contract?? I am paying since month without getting any service. Today they cut off the "services" though I paid January monthly fee twice. NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL

I’m surprised

I am a bit surprised by the number of negative reviews here. I’ve been on this service for almost 3 years now and even enrolled my wife. Their service have always been too and I’ve never been charged even a cent more than my agreed 9,99. Internet is fast and no network problems or whatsoever. Their customer care is super helpful and I’ve even ordered a new phone from them. From my experience as a previous Vodafone and Lyca customer, Simde appears to be the best.
