Very poor and disorganized service

Very poor and disorganized service
Delivery was completed Wednesday at 8 PM, although the shipment was supposed to start on Monday.
Documentation handling was slow and disorganized, causing delays from the beginning.
On the delivery day, the customer had to wait from 11 AM until 8 PM, with about 8 hours stuck at customs and no clear information about the actual delivery time.
The staff on the phone was polite, but the overall service was professionally unacceptable.

Not recommended for urgent, international, or professional shipments.

Excellent service

I had an urgent delivery issue that needed resolving the same day – a pallet for a business event in London that absolutely couldn’t be late. After calling around with no luck, I stumbled across zipmend and gave them a try. They arranged a same-day and the package was delivered well within the time window. Thanks again!

Extra costs with no proof

They are charging us a 'waiting time' fee of €180, claiming that we were unreachable, even though
we did not receive any calls
we were at the office, so they simply could have come to the office (which was, in any case, the designated pickup point). They are rejecting our dispute and say they will 'provide evidence of the calls made by the driver' if we take legal action. Shameful! Avoid at all costs!

not serious company I booked a whole truck to transport goods from Italy to France and I paid for it in advance, they sent me confirmation that the loading will be done from 10am to 3pm the following day. so on the second day I travel 300 km to be on site when loading, the truck doesn't arrive in the morning so I call them and they tell me it will arrive at 3pm in the meantime I wait, around 2.45pm they call me to tell me they haven't found a truck. so I wasted time and money due to the lack of seriousness of the company. it sucks.

Very good IT system but semi-frauds

Very good IT system, and very good price.
Just such a shame that on the loading side they pretended the cargo was too heavy for 1 van, in order to let me book a 2nd van. Luckily the supplier helped me out and gave them the correct net weight, so the driver had to leave with all cargo in 1 van, within the 1.200kg weight limit, as planned

We are sorry that you were not satisfied with our service. Unfortunately, we received a waybill (CMR) with 1342kg at the loading point. This would have made the vehicle overloaded and it would not have been allowed to drive. Unfortunately, the clarification with the loading point regarding the weight took some time, for which we would like to apologise.

Payment issues resolved

There were some payment issues where PayPal cancelled the payment to the company while charging my account.

I called the number on the zipmend website and the man on the other end said I had to send an email. Then I got a call from a lady who was shouting at me that they didn’t receive my payment.

After a week PayPal returned the money and all got sorted with this company. The lady on the phone was just not polite. Otherwise it worked out very well.
