Lost a repeat customer
I've ordered from Goggles4u previously and had no problems. This time I ordered prescription sunglasses which are meant to adjust in sunlight and indoors. I contacted Goggles4u by email, explaining that they were not darkening in sunlight despite spending 10 minutes or more in the sun, rendering them useless. They replied and asked for photos which I promptly sent on 02.08.24. Unfortunately after that, I did not receive any further correspondence from them. I've now been asked to review them on Trust pilot so here I am!
I don't think it's fair for the customer to have to chase the company or remind them to respond when customer service is literally their job.
I don't expect everything to be 100% perfect all of the time (chance would be a fine thing), but I do expect that when things go wrong, the company will do their best to resolve things in a timely manner.
Unfortunately this experience has put me off from buying from them again as their customer service is not up to standard.
