I have been using Feel Good Contacts for more years than I remember. I have always left 5 star reviews because they always delivered to my door quickly for the same price as going to Asda Opticians (due to using their price match).

I received an email from Feel Good Contacts the other day asking me to use my £4 worth of Loyalty points as they were due to expire. I needed to reorder anyway so applied the points.

The first thing I notice is that they are now charging for postage, not even an option for slower free delivery! But I have applied £4 worth of ‘Loyalty’ points so I still should be paying no more than ASDA opticians when I request the price match. How wrong I was....

Delivery was fast as usual but....

Feel good Contacts deducted the £4 worth of ‘Loyalty’ points from my total and then refunded the difference from this amount and the Asda opticians price. This meant that using my £4 ‘Loyalty’ points had no effect and I had lost the £4 worth of points).

A simple mistake I thought, I will let customer services know, they will quickly resolve. After explaining the issue in detail to a number of different Customer Services advisors they all stated that they had applied my points and there was no issue.

So usually the price at Asda Opticians was £54.90, Feel Good contacts would price match that exactly.

This time, Asda opticians was still £54.90.
Feel Good contacts cost me £57.85 even after using £4 loyalty points because they applied the loyalty points before price matching (effectively losing the points).

It is now cheaper and less messing for me. to just go to the local Asda Opticians to buy.
