Return autopay, charge late fee
Capital One is the only credit card company I’ve used that has issues with Autopay. Two times now they’ve returned an autopay on a credit payment and waited to tell me until the late fee applied. An autopay payment was returned on January 2nd The email notifying me did not come in until January 7th. WHY? I know why, it’s because on January 5th they could charge a 29 dollar late fee. Jerks.
