i feel like i’ve established this in one of the kix chapters but y’know how the marauder is like tbb’s ship? not like the ship they are assigned, like it’s THEIR SHIP and tech has modified it and there’s cut footage of them having padme painted on it? like the republic has kind of given up on trying to keep them in line because it’s too much work so they just let tech remove all the republic trackers and everything or whatever the fuck.
ive always wondered if they like. consider the marauder like an actual entity and part of their team. it would lowkey be really funny if that was the case especially because tech would probably preach against material attachment to an inanimate object but will refer to the ship as ‘mesh’la.’
then they all get really defensive when someone says something’s wrong with their ship (because who are we kidding they’d never take her to a mechanic. tech would crash out.) and say like “um, that’s actually really rude, it’s just her personality.”
and i can imagine wrecker being like “oh yeah our ship is a GIRL.” and on the skako minor mission jesse is like “oh well hello there sweetie,” trying to be friendly or he thinks it’s some kind of joke and hunter jsut deadpans from across the room “she doesn’t like when people call her sweetie.”
whenever rex works with them he’s turning to echo like “um.. who are they talking about?” echo has his arms crossed, staring straight ahead and just shrugs. “the ship.” and rex starts to ask more questions and echo just puts a hand on rex’s shoulder and says “just go with it.”
and omega just adapts to this and she’ll be like ‘oh yeah i have to get back to her’ and people on pabu are just os confused because doesn’t she only have brothers?
idk. i just want the bad batch to have a millennium falcon relationship with the marauder. it seems fitting.
