This event is limited to 24 entries. If the number of IRA eligible declarations in the HWT V8+ is less than or equal to 24, allocated entries will be awarded and at-large entries may be awarded up to a limit of 24 total. If there are more than 24 IRA eligible declarations, allocation of entries will be made as follows:

* IRA member schools with league or conference affiliation are only eligible for automatic qualification at their respective regular season championships (i.e. EARC Sprints, MPSF, Western Sprints).

† Any entry participating in a qualifying regatta but not qualifying at that regatta will be considered an at-large entry.  Any unused regional allocations will revert to the at-large pool.

† If a crew qualifies at more than one regatta, the second of those qualifying spots will become an at-large bid determined by the Selection Committee.

This event is limited to 10 entries. This event is open to any member institution but priority will be granted to schools entered in the LTWT Men’s V8+ and LTWT Men’s 2nd V8+.

This event is limited to 8 entries. If the number of IRA eligible declarations in the D3 HWT V8+ is less than or equal to 7, allocated entries will be awarded and at-large entries may be awarded up to a limit of 6 or 7 total. If there are more than 7 IRA eligible declarations, allocation of entries will be made as follows:
