Wij hebben een boeking gedaan voor maandag 14 juli bij Intell hotel Amsterdam. Bij aankomst in het hotel kregen wij te horen dat er voor een nacht daarvoor geboekt was en deze als no show is weggeschreven. Wij moesten hierdoor een nieuwe kamer boeken en uiteindelijk heeft Intell toegezegd op het teruggeven van het geld voor die no show. Toen wij contact op wilde nemen met Hotel values bleek de site uit de lucht te zijn. De boeking was gedaan met CC dus we proberen dit op deze manier terug te vinden.

SCAM. Pretended to be the hotel and when I paid the price almost doubled with additional fees. Let's see if the refund comes.

UPDATE: Refund received within 2 days. Happy with that!

Have had to cancel card. They had the cheek to call me just now pretending to be my bank and querying a transaction. They put the phone down on me when I said I had cancelled the card

I found Hotelsvalues behaved correctly. By mistake (delayed message from the other party) I made a reservation for Crown Plaza Singapore. After the about 50% fees etc added, the price was similar to other agencies quotes. Later the same day the other agents confirmed reservation and I cancelled Hotelvalues deal. Money was returned within 48 hrs.

Navegaba en la página de un hotel para reservar, y no sé en qué momento se aparcerieron los de hotel values para engañarme en la tarifa, hacer un cargo con una sobre tasa que solo aparece en el cargo bancario que hicieron de inmediato BAJO EL NOMBRE DEL HOTEL. Cancelé de inmediato y en el correo de cancelación veo que hotelvalues es quien confirma y cancela por medio de otra empresa llamada "getaroom.com". El hotel me dice que ellos no han recibido un solo centavo de estos estafadores, que si bien sí hicieron la reserva y la cancelaron (a más de un mes de la fecha de mi llegada) cobran el total de la noche, más impuestos, más su fee, al hacer cualquier cambio o cancelación. YO NO LOS ELEGÍ, pensé que era la página del hotel y resulta que se cuelan, engañan, se esconden y cobran con el nombre del hotel. No hay manera de que contesten una llamada o un correo. Zojuist geboekt voor een (gelukkig maar een) nacht bij Holliday Inn. Deze organisatie lokt met goedkope tarieven en berekent vervolgens zowat 50 euro fee. Hun site en het logo lijkt erg op logo van Holliday Inn. Boeven zijn het!!!!

Schandalige site die je doet geloven dat hevig de hotelwebsite van je keuze zit maar in feite een scam is. Je boekt voor een prijs waarbij je bv denkt dat het voor twee nachten is maar nadat je alle gegevens hebt ingevuld wordt je creditcard belast voor het dubbele en ook nog eens met een extra fee van ruim 350 euro erbovenop. De mail komt van Hotelvalues maar de creditcard afschrijving van het a room. De reservering is niet meer te annuleren en omdat het via Amerika gaat zit er geen extra goedkeuring tussen met je creditcard. De creditcard kan de reservering ondanks mijn telefoontje niet meer ongedaan maken. Het ergste is nog dat het hotel een bevestiging krijgt van booking.com(zij zijn er dus ook bij betrokken) en nog ruim 200 euro moet afdragen aan booking.com. Onbegrijpelijk dat dit bedrijf zich leent voor dit soort praktijken. Voor mij dus ook geen booking.com meer. Hotels kunnen vaak niet zonder deze sites anders verliezen ze hun plek op Google. Maar zijn ook niet blij met de hoge kosten die dergelijke sites door rekenen. We gaan nog iets proberen met onze rechtsbijstands verzekering. Hopelijk wordt hier in de media een keer aandacht aan besteed. Vreselijk dat je bij een bedrijf wil werken dat zo mensen wil bedriegen.

A real SCAM! They "trick" me into booking with them by impersonating the Hotels websites.

I was certain that I booked directly at the hotel but discovered later that I wasn´t.

The hotel room costed 191 Euros and they added 38 Euros "tax recovery charge” and 73 € service Fee" to the total WITHOUT ANY WARNING! The hotel was also choked but could not do anything, they only got 191 €.

Una truffa assoluta, una vergogna per la catena Holiday Inn, una trappola impostata sotto un immagine innocuo di una catena alberghiera di rilievo. Prima del ordine mostrano un importo da addebitare inferiore a quello reale (195€ contro 529 euro reali addebitati). Lo scopri solo dopo la elaborazione del pagamento. Un disastro, ed anche ti che fa il sospetto che la catena lo sa e lo copre. INDEGNOSO E VERGOGNOSO. STATE ATTENTI, DA FARE LA DENUNCIA ED È ASSOLUTAMENTE DA EVITARE

Absolut SCAM! They "trick" you in booking with them by impersonating the Hotels websites.

I was sure that I booked directly at the hotel but turns out I wasn´t.

The hotel room costed 171 Euros and they added 60 Euros "service Fee" to the total WITHOUT WARNING!

As I was travelling for business I needed an invoice and they don´t provide invoices.

After making payment my receipt showed their "fees" that amounted to 40% of the total! It was then that I realized they were impersonating the legitimate hotel website.
Total scam, will be contacting my states attorney general

Rip off shows you a price then charges a huge commission SCAM

This is a bogus website that masquerades as the actual hotel website and the people on the phone do NOT tell you they are a third party website. Their phone robot CANCELLED my reservation when I asked for HELP with cancelling a reservation. Then they said the reservation was non refundable and kept my deposit! I am now going through the process of disputing the charges with my credit card company!!

They take your money without your consent. They use an URL that makes you think you are booking directly with the (German, in this case) hotel. They let you fill out credit card details, then mid-way through the booking process suddenly the price is waayyyyyy higher, but even if you never click on OKAY, and never finish the booking process in any other way, and close the web page, suddenly they will have taken money out of your credit card account. And then they cannot be reached. The hotel did have my reservation but I could have booked it for €30 a night less if Hotelvalues / Guest Reservations had not scammed me and taken my money without my consent.

This is a fraudulent company. They pretend to be the hotel website, they publish low rates, and then when you select to pay they add on excessive additional charges. I was going to pay for the hotel when the charges increased by 40% (€60) for bogus add on charges for a one night stay. Thankfully I caught this when authorizing my credit card or so I thought. Now I see they manually entered my credit card data without my authorization. Stay away, save yourself a lot of money!

Yep. Agree with all the statements here. They make the booking and as soon as you pay they take a huge commission on top. I think they actually do the booking so it cant be said they scam you as it can then be argued that the service was provided regardless of the scam commission. Just get on the phone direct to your hotel.
