Now, the Nikon service center in Turkey which name is Karfo Karacasulu , instead of accepting a refund for a broken camera that was returned within 14 days of purchase, is demanding that I pay for the repair costs. I considered Nikon one of the best camera brands. How can they refuse a refund for a camera that broke down within just 14 days of purchase, and then demand that I pay for the repair costs? Absolutely do not buy Nikon, especially if you live in Turkey.Moreover, I paid a high price for a tour to Africa and didn't get to take a single photo. Nikon owes me an African vacation.

i purchased a NIKON Sportstar EX 10x25âŠ
i purchased a NIKON Sportstar EX 10x25 binocular with the idea to have a long lasting quality device in my hands.
just one year and a few days after purchase i noticed the casing getting sticky and beginning to disintegrate.
upon request for refund or replacement i was told that the one-year warranty has expired.
optics and casing are worse than for a binocular i purchased years ago for 10% of the price.
very disappointing.
Better than I expected!
I read the policy on repair or replace and it said I had to have receipts etc.
I ignored that and filled out a repair request for my monarch binoculars. The same binoculars that nikon had replaced for me for free 14 years ago when I ran them over with my truck and squished them.
So this time the eyepieces were scratched from my cleaning them improperly over time I assume.
After about 7 days I received an email from the service team that to repair them would be more costly than Replacement.
In that same email they provided a voucher code for $564.00 to use to purchase any item from their site. I need only pay shipping.
I found a nice pair of binocs for around $460.00 which they gave me for free.
Out of pocket was my cost to ship to them,$16.00
My cost to ship from them to me the new ones $11.00
I don't know how I could have been treated any better.
Was trying to order a camera and lens
Was trying to order a camera and lens. I live in a rural area. I have no issues getting packages from any place I order. Nikon says that they cannot verify my address, and to call USPS. Verified through USPS. Called Nikon again and they told me there was nothing that they could do on their end. Really like my older Nikon but the lack of customer service Iâm likely to go back to a cannon.

Month ago a problem came up with my "action 10*50" binoculars (most probably it needs some re-adjustment to interior system), approx. TEN YEARS OLD ONLY, and when I visited the local dealer in Athens I received the following unacceptable statement:
- NO MORE SPARES are provided from "NIKON" for this model!
More, I have addressed my case in past two weeks by two emails sent to the European head support, which cases confirmed by auto-reply, Ids: #06332136 & #06334116, BUT, to my full disappointment, NO ANY RESPONSE has been received so far!
So, I resume "NIKON's" position/policy if something malfunctioned, as foll:
- Products aged 10 years (maybe less) should be considered unrepairable and must be thrown away in a trash bin!!!

Ik kocht een Nikon Monarch 5 verrekijker.
Daarvan bleken de beschermdoppen voor de oculairs een erg ruime passing te hebben, waardoor ze er spontaan afvallen als je de verrekijker schuin houdt.
Ik zag daarna op diverse reviews dezelfde klacht en de winkel zei dat dit een bekend probleem is en opsturen geen zin heeft. Je krijgt hem dan onaangepast retour. De Nikon klantenservice zegt niets van dit issue te weten.
Ik ben blij dat ik met mijn camerasystemen ooit voor Canon heb gekozen, dit soort onzin heb ik daar nog nooit meegemaakt.
Servicio nefasto
Llevo a reparar una cámara D5300 en el servicio Nikon en Barcelona. La recogen sin problema y la mandan a no sé donde. Unos dÃas más tarde la devuelven sin hacer ninguna reparación, con albarán en donde indican "falla circuito alimentación. Fábrica no envia recambios. Finalizado perÃodo de servicio".
O sea que una cámara que vale su dinero, al cabo de unos 10 años ya no la puedo reparar porque no me cambian la placa de alimentación.
Para sorpresa mÃa, en AliExpress, por unos 35 euros, te mandan a casa una placa de alimentación -indican original- sin ningún problema.

I ordered a new camera and lens which I was very excited about. Both products were on back order so I had no idea when they would be available. Of course, they ship the day before I leave on vacation. I tried to change the delivery date on the UPS side but they said Nikon would not allow it. So I called Nikon and they basically told me too bad â said ups would try to deliver 3 times (all while Iâm gone) and then the product would be delivered back to Nikon and I would have to reorder. I got a sale price on these items so I asked if they would still give me that price since this is NOT my fault and they said they couldnât guarantee anything. And as if that wasnât enough, I asked if I reordered, how can I make sure the product is delivered when I can be home (I work in healthcareâŠcanât be home often) and, again, they were useless and said there was nothing they could do. Crazy customer service for a company selling expensive merchandise

They just don't value loyalty. Am switching manufacturers because this company is garbage along with their products.
swiss repair center
My z7 and 24-70mm 2.8 falled in november 2024. I asked the swiss repair center for repair. I didn't get news and did not found a contact e-mail adress. After one month, I found a contact email(Nikon, please improve the repair process by giving a direct url to the repair page on the repair confirmation page, or require to create an account, so that we can easily follow the repair). I could then send my camera in january. Problem was that I entered a wrong e-mail. I thought they modified it. After 3 weeks without news, I finally found that their is a repair page to follow the repair. So nikon did not change the e-mail. So I accepted the estimation. They did not have the necessary spare parts. I finally got my camera back in february. I then noticed some other problem. Among other, the aperture sub-command dial did not work at all. Ok, it was maybe overseen during their check-up after repair.
I sent it back and clearly said it was not working. Again, they did not have the necessary spare parts. I got back the camera one month later and the aperture dial is still not working. It's a pity that the camera is not functional since Nikon made a grate job for the other repairs.
So after more than 4 month, the camera is still not repaired. After 800 CHF repairs, I'm not sure if my insurance will pay another repair.

Habe eine Nikon Coolpix 950 gekauft. Diese soll die Weiterentwicklung der Coolpix 1000 sein ? Seltsame Produktbezeichnungen ! Der 2000mm Zoom ist mega. Das muss man sagen. Allerdings ist das Zoom-GerÀusch so penetrant, daà es auf jeder Aufnahme sehr dominant zu hören ist. Das ist in meinen Augen ein No-Go ! Vorschlag Nikon Support : erst zoomen. Dann filmen ?! Sorry, aber : lÀcherlich. Zum einen wÀre ich da auch selber drauf gekommen. Aber wenn man bewegte Objekte filmt, dann geht das nicht. Zweitens kaufe ich doch diese Kamera nicht um dann mit meinem Nutzerverhalten einem offensichtlichen Fehldesign entgegen zu wirken ! Das Problem muss von Nikon gelöst werden. Nicht von mir !

Nikon allowed fraud on my credit card, then told me the fraudulent order was cancelled, when it was not. They shipped the camera to the thief after telling me the ordered was cancelled. They charged my card after telling me the fraudulent order was cancelled. Garbage company filled with garbage people.

Schlechte Erfahrung mit neuem Nikkor AFS105/2.8G VR MICRO
Ich hatte privat bisher drei Objektive der Nikkor 105/2.8G Serie. Beruflich (Praxis) nutze ich immer noch ein ca. 20 Jahre altes (ca. 12-14 Auslösungen / Arbeitstag). Mein erstes, sehr lange genutztes, musste ich nach einem selbst verschuldeten Fallschaden ersetzen (irreparabel defekt), mein zweites, noch âmade in Japanâ, hatte ca. 20k Auslösungen auf dem Buckel, als eine ÃŒberschaubare Reparatur fÀllig wurde (Autofokus), aber das dritte, das ich als Reserve kaufte und schon das Label âMade in Chinaâ trug, ging schon gegen Ende der Garantiezeit in die Knie (nach einem Bruchteil dieser Auslösungen, vielleicht 1,5k). Anfangs ein sporadischer Fehler, der Autofokus griff gelegentlich nicht mehr und einige Bilder waren unscharf, aber im Laufe der Monate nahm das PhÀnomen zu und der Fehler zog sich durch. Nach mehrfachen Versuchen ÃŒber den HÀndler das Objektiv zur Rep. einzuschicken, die das offensichtlich nicht wollten (die Bilder waren damals noch nicht alle schlecht), schickte ich das Objektiv selber an Nikon Repair, die sofort einen selbstverschuldeten Schaden diagnostizierten (âDas GerÀt wurde durch eine StoÃ- bzw. Druckeinwirkung beschÀdigtâ) und mir eine winzige Delle von 0,2 mm am Arretierungsbajonett in einer Makroaufnahme zeigten, welche das ganze Innenleben (Motor, Autofokus) zerstört haben soll. Diese Minidelle kann man ohne VergröÃerung praktisch nicht sehen. Ich habe absolut keinen StoÃschaden in Erinnerung, denn ich behandle das Equipment nach meinem ersten Fallschaden wie ein rohes Ei. Es gibt auch keine ErklÀrung, wie dieser StoÃ- oder Druckschaden nicht permanent schlechte Bilder erzeugte, sondern anfangs ganz selten und spÀter immer hÀufiger wurde. Es gab auch keine eigenartigen GerÀusche beim SchÃŒtteln des Objektivs, nichts. Wenn diese neuen, ultrateuren Objektive schon Made in China sind und so extrem fragil, kann man sich meiner Meinung nach das Geld sparen und auf andere, gÃŒnstige Objektive von Fremdherstellern greifen. Zumal die veranschlagten Reparaturkosten, die Kosten fÃŒr den Kauf eines z.B. Sigma Makros mit Àhnlichen Werten sogar ÃŒberstiegen. Ich habe mir das Objektiv unrepariert zurÃŒckkommen lassen
Keine Ersatzteile fÌr 6jÀhriege Kamera
Coolpix P900 6 Jahre alt ist nicht reparierbar mangels Ersatzteile. Das ist keine hochstehende Weltfirma. Nicht zu empfehlen.

Compré una Nikon Z6 II en la tienda oficial de Nikonistas, pensando que era un producto "Zero Shot". Tras experimentar fallos con la cámara, la envié a Finicon para su reparación bajo garantÃa. La respuesta fue increÃble: alegaron manipulación interna basándose en unas fotos dudosas de la ranura SD, sin siquiera desmontar la cámara. Me pidieron 499 ⬠por la reparación, a pesar de estar en garantÃa.
