I’ve had several very troubling experiences at Popeyes on Coventry Arena. On multiple visits I’ve personally observed managers loudly shouting at Black crew members in front of customers. This was aggressive and unprofessional, and it made both staff and customers visibly uncomfortable.

It also appeared that Black crew members were being disciplined or let go much more often than others several employees I saw working one week weren’t there the next, and this seemed to happen repeatedly. From an outside perspective, this created a very worrying pattern that felt discriminatory.

In addition to this, the managers I’ve encountered are often rude to customers dismissive, abrupt, and lacking basic courtesy. Between the way staff are treated and the attitude toward customers, the overall atmosphere feels hostile rather than welcoming.

Based on my experiences, I cannot recommend this location.
