AN INTRODUCTION TO THE SEASON
Hazbin Guarantee (Trust Us) is the opening number of season 2, so it introduces the themes (substance vs appearance) and the main characters (Charlie and the Hazbin Crew vs The Vees). At the same time, it foreshadows several plot-points and motifs.
HAZBIN GUARANTEE VS TRUST US
ALTThe song presents two opposite points of views.
Charlie believes the right way to work on one-self is to become better:

So, Charlie’s offer to the Sinners should be better than the Vees’, right? Still, how come so many Sinners prefer V Tower over the Hazbin Hotel? It has all to do with the two organizations’ different styles of communication.
