I know this is a terrible time of year to ask because everyone’s money is tight, but life rarely smacks you when it’s convenient. Our 13 year old former pound puppy Ginger is at the vet right now and was there all last night and will likely be so again tonight. She has fluid in her lungs and an enlarged heart. We don’t yet know the root cause, it may be genetic or due to old age or some other underlying factor. We’ve only had her for 4 years so before that we don’t know much about what her life was like.
I’m about as broke as one can get right now and my Mom is footing the bill for my own medical issues, my sister’s up coming wedding and now this.
I hate asking for money without giving something back so I’m hoping a new illustration will be a good trade.
For every donation or bid of $20.00 or more, you will receive a full 300 dpi resolution copy of this 8.5 x 11 image of my Zahara character with some cute sphyx cubs. It will be either linked or emailed to you once I’ve finished it up.
At the moment we have no idea what the ultimate cost of Ginger’s vet bill will be, but I’m imagining its going to be around $500 after her two nights of staying and the x-rays that have been or will be done.
Because I’m only asking for 20 per person, I won’t be starting on this until I’ve gotten at least $100 dollars in pledges and I won’t charge any one who bids until we’ve hit the 100 beginning target.

This artwork was drawn by Ralloonx and hand colored with copic /
prisma marker and colored pencil by me on bristol paper, 9 x 12 inches.
Please note the image itself does not go to the right and left edges of
the paper by an inch or so. The black border around the artwork is also
fainter in the original.
This artwork is being auctioned off. Starting bid is $50.00. Image rights are not included.
