About

[edit]

The history of Counter-Strike will live on forever within the eSports community. A lot of you witnessed Fnatic's 2009 lineup dominate the scene and solidify themselves as one of the greatest squads ever. Then in 2010 we saw Na`Vi go down a similar path as they dominated the CS 1.6 scene and earned their spot in eSports history. Since then we've had debates, discussions, arguments, you name it, on whether Na`Vi were as strong as Fnatic and who would win the supermatch?

Well with that in mind, we would like to announce that in celebration of the brand new EIZO Foris FG2421, with the support of EIZO we present: Counter Strike Forever! Take a step back in time to witness the Fnatic 2009 line up take on Na`Vi's 2010 line up in an epic Best-of-5 showmatch on CS 1.6 and CS:GO.

These two squads not only did a lot for Counter-Strike but eSports as a whole. Each of the players are legends in their own right and continue to this day to push eSports forward. On the 5th of November at 18:00 CET you can witness history as both of these teams duke it out.

Below you can find a statement from Fnatic's CGO and member of the Fnatic 2009 Team of the year lineup. [1]
