Ladislav "GuardiaN" Kovács (born July 9, 1991) is a retired Slovak professional Counter-Strike player and coach. He is predominantly known for his time in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, having been named the second-best player of 2015 and placing in HLTV's Top 20 rankings for five consecutive years from 2013 to 2018. He also competed in Counter-Strike 2, Counter-Strike: Source, and Counter-Strike.

[edit]- Became engaged to Foxglove on November 2, 2016. [3] The couple were married on July 1, 2017. [4]
- Due to his wrist injury, GuardiaN was forced to play on a mouse sensitivity about four times higher than his usual one during the grand final at MLG Columbus 2016. [5]
- Can speak Slovak, Hungarian, English and Russian. He learned the latter before joining Virtus.pro in 2013 with help from Fox, who was on the team at the time.
- He operated his own esports store, GetGear, from 2020 to late 2022, selling peripherals and merchandise.

- Along with flamie, Edward and frozen, he has attended the most major finals without winning one, a total of 3. They were at DreamHack Cluj-Napoca 2015, MLG Columbus 2016 and ELEAGUE Major Boston 2018.
