Introduction

This is a tutorial for how to create and maintain your own Team page on Liquipedia. We'll go through how to deal with the different templates. The bold text will be the actual "code" and italic text will be my comments on the code. A good template ready to copy and paste will be found at the end of each segment.

Section-headers

An important part of any Liquipedia page is good headings to make an easy to navigate Table of Contents (or TOC)-box at the top of the page. some normal ones include Overview, Format, Players, Group-stage, Bracket, Rules and Racial Distribution. You can of course create others and ignore some to best suit the tournament you're creating the page for. You create a heading by starting a new line and entering:
==HEADER NAME==
And then another line break after it so as to leave it as the only text or code on that line. The HEADER NAME should be changed to the name you want to give the header. If you want to make a sub header within that section, use three equal-signs on each side of the name, and a further sub heading would be four equal-signs on each side.

Adding an infobox to your team page

An Infobox is one of the standard features of any Liquipedia page and it's no different for tournaments, leagues, Player Pages or Team Pages, situated at the top right corner of a page it gives some brief information about the Team. The {{Infobox team}}-template should come before the article text, but perhaps after other templates such as Tabs or Stub, and also after a banner, should you have added that to the top of the page. Following will be the explanation of the code.

Adding a timeline dynamic tabs to your Team page

A Timeline Dynamic tab is the standard way to add an timeline on a Team Page on Liquipedia. The first tab should always be the current year.

• June 2nd - daps' contract with Team Liquid officially ends.

• December 15th - Team Liquid announce they are trialing allu in the ELEAGUE Road to Vegas Qualifier, replacing FugLy in the active line-up.
• December 23rd - Hiko confirms that allu decided not to move to North America and join Team Liquid.

• January 2nd - Team Liquid announce the signing of s1mple.
• February 17th - It is reported that Team Liquid will be replacing adreN with koosta.
• February 21st - koosta is officially announced as the newest addition. adreN moves to a substitute position.
• March 14th - Team Liquid announce that adreN will be trying out for Team SoloMid.
• April 7th - KJ, Team Liquid's analyst, announces that he has parted ways with the organization.
• April 21st - Team Liquid announce via Twitter that s1mple is leaving to join a European team. adreN will rejoin the starting lineup. s1mple is still in contract with the organization and will be streaming under the Team Liquid banner until his contract expires.
• April 23rd - Team Liquid announce via Facebook that GBJame^s has officially stepped down from his coaching role and has parted ways with the team.
• May 17th - Team Liquid announce the addition of peacemaker as their new coach.
• June 6th - Team Liquid announce the release of adreN and s1mple's return to the active line-up for two last events.
• June 13th - Counter Logic Gaming and Team Liquid swap jdm64 and koosta.
• June 15th - Team Liquid officially announce that they have signed Pimp.
• August 4th - Natus Vincere acquire s1mple.
• October 22nd - Peacemaker parts ways with Team Liquid. It is also mentioned that team manager, jokasteve, will coaching at the upcoming ESL Pro League Season 4 Finals.
• November 11th - zews joins as coach for Northern Arena and IEM Oakland.

• February 3rd - stanislaw joins.
• February 7th - Team Liquid announce the departure of Hiko.
• March 23rd - Team Liquid announce that Pimp requested to be transferred; he has been moved to a substitute position in the meantime.
• April 14th - Twistzz joins, transferring from Misfits.
• July 9th - Pimp's contract with Team Liquid ends.
• November 13th - Team Liquid sign steel, replacing stanislaw in the starting roster.

• February 5th - NAF returns to Team Liquid after almost three years, replacing jdm64 on the starting roster.
• February 7th - stanislaw is signed by OpTic Gaming.
• April 6th - TACO joins the team while steel departs.
• April 22nd - steel joins Luminosity Gaming.
• June 10th - jdm64 announces that his contract with Team Liquid has come to an end.
• December 21st - Team Liquid and MIBR trade TACO and zews for Stewie2K.
• December 22nd - Team Liquid sign adreN as their new head coach.

Creating and adding a Active Roster list

Here is how you create an active roster list. A Former roster list should be added in the tab "players" After "joindate=" you can add "|igl=y" for the player who is the team in-game leader.
