Charlie "pickles" Pickles is a retired British professional Counter-Strike: Global Offensive player.
Career
[edit]Initially, pickles was a part-time competitive player working a full time job until Spring 2017 when he decided to lower his hours to pursue playing competitively full time. He was picked up by Team Endpoint in June 2017 for Gfinity Elite Series UK - Season 1 and some other smaller tournaments. Team Endpoint were eliminated from the tournament shy of a semifinal spot which exceL eSports acquired, not long after, pickles was removed and later joined Team XENEX. He was also added to Method as a substitute during his time in Team XENEX for Gfinity Elite Series UK - Season 2 - which he was only used as a coach in their game against Team Endpoint on the fifth week of the offline league.
Near the end of the year, Vexed Gaming acquired pickles as a trial player for their UK team where he would attend Copenhagen Games 2018 with second places at the B Tournament and ESL Premiership Spring 2018 falling to the American Rogue side and Epsilon eSports respectively. Pickles also enjoyed a season of ESEA Premier before stepping down from Vexed Gaming.uk followed by playing the Relegation which his team did not pass thus the team being demoted to ESEA Advanced.
