Vasilisa "Vasilisa" Chernova (born February 26, 1998) is a Russian esports host and caster.
Biography
[edit]Prior to being involved in Dota 2 events, she played Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas multiplayer. This led to her getting involved with graphics design and singing through the course of being involved with the community, with several of these videos hosted on her YouTube channel. Through roleplaying in her clan, they also practiced interviewing and radio broadcasts, eventually receiving a position where she earned RUB 10,000 a month, which shocked her mother. She later credited her experiences as being important when moving to Dota 2 work.[1]
She began commentating in Dota 2 in 2022, including the final year of the Dota Pro Circuit in 2023. In the Bali Major, she made her debut on LAN as a host, and was invited to host at The International 2023. Since then, she has juggled both roles, and began working for FISSURE and multiple Tier 1 tournaments. She was also invited back to The International 2024 as a host.
