Mike Ross is an American Fighting Games player, commentator and tournament host.
Mike Ross was introduced to fighting games by regularly going to the arcades in Southern California. He was particularly interested in Marvel vs. Capcom 2, and would actively seek to play as much as possible to improve his skills.[1] With the arcade release of Street Fighter IV in 2008, his passion for fighting games peaked as he started to be religiously involved with the game and it's community.
Mike Ross' dedication culminated to him reaching 4th place at EVO 2010 with his Honda. He would go on to continue placing well at Street Fighter tournaments, but his focus started to shift more towards content creation, as he was the co-host of "Excellent Adventures" along with Gootecks, as well as the host of "Capcom Pro Talk". In 2023 he started a new project called "Versus Vortex", along with Xian.
