B-Tier Tournaments

From Liquipedia Pokémon Wiki

B-Tier Tournaments offer a smaller prize pool and less prestige than A-Tier Tournaments, but may still draw a high level of competition. These are typically qualifier tournaments players compete in to earn points for higher-tiered tournaments, such as the League Cups for TCG and Midseason Showdowns for VGC. Large-scale grassroots tournaments with a sizable player attendance and prize pool may also be classified as B-Tier.
