PUBG Mobile Club Open (abbreviated as PMCO) was the mainstream world tournament event of PUBG Mobile in 2019 and has been the semi-pro tournament series taking place around the world since 2020. It is organized by Level Infinite along with KRAFTON.

About

History

2019

PMCO made its first debut in 2019 as the official tournament series for pro players to begin their esports career for PUBG Mobile. The PMCO served as the main and highest tier of PUBG Mobile tournaments across the world, where it culminated at the PMCO Spring Split - 2019 Global Finals for the Spring season and PMCO Fall Split - 2019 Global Finals for the Fall season.

2020-2021

After PUBG Mobile Pro League (PMPL) was introduced in 2020, the PMCO were demoted and mainly served as qualifiers where newcomer and amateur teams and players play for spots either into the National Championships or directly into the Pro Leagues/World-tier tournaments.

2022

After the introduction of the 2022 PUBG Mobile Esports Roadmap ^[1] during the PMGC 2021 Grand Finals, PMCO served as the official qualifiers for new teams into the revamped PUBG Mobile National Championship (PMNC) and/or Regional Cups that exclusively seeded teams into the PMPL for the 2023 competitive season. Additionally, the PMCO was co-hosted by the Snapdragon Pro Series by ESL in selected regions.
