He was ranked as the 17th best Wii U player of all time on the PGR100. In Ultimate, he is ranked 35th in PGRUv3 NA.

Biography

[edit]

Although being critical and joking of his own Melee play, ESAM was considered one of the best Melee Samus players in his home state of Florida, as well as South Carolina where he also competed fairly frequently. He was ranked 93rd on Melee It On Me's 2013 SSBM Player Rankings, 100th on the 2014 edition, 81st on the 2015 edition and 68th on the 2016 edition.

After joining CLASH Tournaments on an unknown date, ESAM left the organization on June 25, 2015. The next day, on June 26, he became one of the first three Smash players to join Panda Global.

On September 15, 2019, ESAM would finally win his first major, doing so at Glitch 7, defeating Suarez, LeoN, Nairo, Tweek, and Light twice. His victory would also coincide with Ash Ketchum's victory at the Manalo Conference in the Pokémon anime, as both are known for using Pikachu.

On January 15, 2023, ESAM left Panda shortly before the organization ceased operations due to numerous controversies regarding the cancellation of the 2022 Smash World Tour.[1]

He joined 26 RISING on March 31, 2023.[2] ESAM parted ways with 26 RISING on July 1, 2023, as his contract with the team expired.[3] He joined Stride Esports on February 15, 2024.[4] The team was disbanded on September 17, 2024.[5]
