Julia "Ailuj" Childress is a Protoss player from Canada who is currently retired.
Biography
[edit]Julia discovered Brood War when she was 14 through a new friend in high school. She played mostly UMS (custom) games. She started playing SC2 in September 2010 but didn't really get into ladder play until late October 2010.
Wings of Liberty
[edit]Julia attended her first MLG in November where she started her journey by defeating Protoss player Flamingcow. This victory pushed her though to the 2nd round where she was to become the first female to play on the main stage at an MLG event.[1] She fell to the then Code A player LosirA (now KangHo) and dropped down to the losers bracket. From here, she faced Zerg players SilverEclipse57 and Magikarp and defeated them both 2-1. After these wins, she lost 2-0 against Destiny.
On September 6, 2012, she joined Team Infused.[2]
