The Insomnia45 Multiplay StarCraft II Tournament is a bring-your-own-computer (BYOC) tournament organized by Multiplay. It takes place at the Insomnia45 Gaming Festival, at the Telford International Centre.
Format
[edit]- Group Stage
- Double-elimination bracket
- The first rounds are best-of-three series.
- The upper and lower bracket finals are best-of-three, or best-of-five if time permits.
- The grand final is best-of-seven, with a 2-0 advantage given to the player coming from the upper bracket.
Prize Pool
[edit]The prize pool depends on the number of players participating. It varies from £2,000 to £3,000.[1] Since 78 players participated in the tournament, the prize pool is £2,125.
