Overview
[edit]Khaydaria is a 4-player map created by IronmanSC of the ESV Mapmaking Team.
The key to this map is center control and keeping watch over the destructible rocks near your fourth. The bridges were added to allow more flanking options for zerg, and to slightly decrease the rush distance. The fourth base has six mineral patches and one high-yield vespene geyser. Holding it with a planetary fortress as Terran allows control over the wide ramp to your bases, the only other path being the 1-size bridge. The central area between the natural, third, and fourth has a movement blocker allowing smaller Force Field chokes. There are line of sight blockers on the central side of the ramp, allowing an army to wait either on the ramp or beyond without being detected.

- 3 size rocks block paths between adjacent bases, but when destroyed allow unique attack paths.
- There is a flying shark that patrols around the map.

[edit]- "The name Khaydarin is in reference to the starcraft lore in which the Xel'Naga were chased off Aiur by the Protoss and left Khaydarin Crystals behind. Thus, the name Khaydaria expresses a large area full of these crystals, and I found it to be an appropriate name." -Ironman
