The ESL Pro Tour 2021 is the second year of the world wide Warcraft III pro tour. It's organized, sponsored and hosted by ESL in collaboration with DreamHack.

The DreamHack Open - Fall Season - America is the second chance (out of three) for Americans and Oceanians players to grant a bundle of EPT points and qualify for the regional final.

The U.S.A. player and summer season champion Hitman won, beating his countryman CrunCher in final.

Format

Qualifiers

The qualifier system got 2 steps:

two open qualifiers offer 2 spots each for the closed qualifier:
- qualifier #1 on July 10th,
- qualifier #2 on July 11th,
one closed qualifier on July 17th & 18th offers 4 spots for the main event.

The last season top 4 players are invited.

Group stage (8 into 4)

The group stage consists of 2 groups of 4 players each:

double elimination bracket,
all matches played as Bo3,
top 2 of each group advance to the playoffs.

Dates :

July 28th-29th : semi-finals,
July 30th : winners' finals,
July 31st : losers' round 1,
August 1st : losers' finals.

Playoffs

The 4 players remaining fight through a Bo5 single elimination bracket:

August 7th : semi-finals,
August 8th : final.
