Season XII

The ESL Pro Series Germany - Season XI is the German National Championship. It's organized, sponsored and hosted by ESL. Only players residing in Germany are eligible to participate in this tournament.

The German player and defending champion HasuObs won for the second time, beating his countryman Protois in final.

Format

Regular season

The regular season consists of a single group stage:

simple round robin (a player face each others once),
all matches are Bo3,
played from August 20th to November 25th,
top 4 advance to the playoffs.

Playoffs

The 4 players remaining face offline at the Tanzbrunnen in Cologne (Germany) in a double elimination bracket:

all matches are Bo3,
grand final played with a super advantage (if the player coming from the losers' bracket won, a 2nd serie determine the winner),
semi-finals played on November 30th,
winners' final, losers' round 1 & losers' final played on December 1st,
grand final played on December 2nd.
