Cinder still doesn’t really like this truck. My shitbox was an extended cab and she could go behind the front seats and was more comfortable back there. The passenger door rattles loudly on rough roads too. If she’s tired enough though, she will pathetically loaf on the ride home.

Sometimes she wants to ride in the bed, and since I don’t like to leave my crates back there because I don’t have a topper, she can’t do that. I’ve been looking for one for months, turns out a cab height topper with no broken windows that will fit this truck is hard to find.

Windy afternoon hunt with the Bean.

The wind was quite violent earlier in the day, causing a lot of downed trees and power outages. It’s also been above freezing for several days so almost all the snow is gone.

Spending time in the woods with the Bean

Second best part of the hunt is getting crunchy squirrel bits. Heads, feet, and tails are the favorites. This is something all the dogs get to participate in, not just the one who hunted.

New Years Eve hunt with Cinder. She had a bunch of good trees, saw lots of squirrels today. Took 4 home.
