“Heated Rivalry’s” Connor Storrie and Hudson Williams Read Thirst Tweets - BuzzFeed Celeb

ABO / Omegaverse (4:56 - 6:02)

Connor: Here you go: ‘I love watching Heated Rivalry, because it’s the closest I’ll ever get to watching an alpha and omega go at it.’ What is 'omega’? 🤨
Hudson: It’s a little bottom boy! 🍑👉👌
Connor: No, that’s a beta? 🤔
Producer: So there’s this thing called the Omegaverse.
Hudson: Yep! 💯
Producer: The alpha is the top. The omega is the bottom. It’s werewolf dynamics. They be going at it, then going into heat.
Connor: 🤯🫨 Damn! All righty! 😅
Hudson: That’s funny, cuz I like the animal thing when you’re acting; to use a bit of animal stuff. 🐺 And then, in Episode 2, too, in the bathroom. I wanted to be a little bit like a hungry coyote. I wanted Shane to be a little bit of a coyote. 😊
Connor: That was a coyote when you were–when you had tears in your eyes?! 😨
Hudson: Yeah! It was, like–it was a hungry little scrappy coyote, that just wanted to hump, and he was in heat 🥵, and he just wanted to whimper away! 🥺👉👈
Connor: 😨 But humping in heat is you wanting tears in your eyes?! 😭
Hudson: All I wanted was Shane to be a little coyote; you know, a little horny little mutt! 🐺🤗
Producer: Who would be the alpha, and who would be the omega?
Hudson: Oh Shane is the omega! 😤
Connor: You’re the omega, 100%.
Hudson: Yeah, cuz I’m–he’s crawling all over this [bleep 🤤🍆] man–he’s up inside these GUTS! 🍑💦🫃🏻
Connor: Does that answer your question a little bit? 😑
Producer: Yeah, thank you so much. 😏
Connor: You’re welcome. 🥰💀

AMC, It’s not too late to add werewolves to the Immortal Universe! 🐺🙏

AMC only acquired the rights to Anne Rice’s vampires & witches books (x x). This means that they sadly don’t have the rights to adapt AR’s Wolf Gift series. 😭😩 HOWEVER. ☝️👀 Werewolves DO still exist in The Vampire Chronicles/Mayfair Witches universe, independent(?) of the Morphenkinder lore from the Wolf Gift verse.

  • The Scandinavian vampire Thorne describes Viking werewolves (ulfhednar) in Blood & Gold:

  • Lestat & Nicki describe pre-1700s werewolf/witch burnings in TVL:
image
  • The Talamasca are confirmed to have seen & studied them in TotBT:
image
  • And David says that werewolves are “immortals” in PL:

And AMC really had no effing reason to make Lasher the magic wolf-whisperer out of nowhere in MW S2, but I actually love the parallels:

Esp. since the marketing/press already repeatedly mentioned werewolves as something the Order deals with anyway, unless this is false advertising (x x x):

So really, there’s nothing but space and opportunity! Make it happen, I BEG you, your so-called “Immortal Universe” is REALLY lacking in the immortal creatures department so far, if all y'all are focusing on is vampires/revenants. 🙄😒 Esp. since y'all have confirmed over & over that Anne Rice’s witches are NOT immortals. So wtf?

people will really go up to shapeshifters like “oh what’s your true form? oh but what do you really look like?” are u hearing yourself. do u hear how insane u sound

“but what were you originally” MADAM, I WAS A ZYGOTE

NGL I think this depends on the verse lore.

Like, in X-men, Mystique definitely has a true form–which is hands down better & more iconic than any normie disguise she adopts.

In The Witcher, Dopplers have a true form; and it’s frikkin hideous (by human standards). But even pre-Conjunction & pre-contact with humans, most Dopplers preferred taking the shape of animals and living in the wilderness, rather than taking any anthropomorphic form whatsoever (Elf, Nymph, Dwarf, Troll, etc).

In D&D, Final Fantasy, etc, there’s Mimics that we don’t really know wtf they were originally; they just disguise themselves as treasure chests & save points–but when revealed, they turn into monstrous versions of whatever they mimic. Is that a clue as to their true form, or is it just a defense tactic when entering a fight?

And ofc there’s Werebeasts. You have Selkies, whose true form IS a seal. But with werewolves, the lore varies. Sometimes their true form IS a wolf (a la a Kitsune or Okami that lives 100yrs/1000yrs and gains the ability to shapeshift); but most often the human is infected/cursed/etc and forcibly turn into a wolf that isn’t their true form/self at all.

So IDK. 🤷 But yes, in general I think the more polite question would be to ask a shapeshifter what species/type/kind of shifter they are, rather than more invasively asking what their true form is. 🤔
