| So all this time she was just obeying her dad and repressed her feelings. Like the other commenters said it was selfish of her to expect Juntang to wait for her forever. Dude has a life too and it's not as if he could read her mind and understand what she was going for. And after finally seeing him with another girl NOW she wants to confess? I feel bad about Zhu. I really do. But what she did was still a huge mistake that would get both of them hurt. It seemed like Juntang finally made his decision. We don't know what his decision is yet but Zhu throwing a curveball like that outta nowhere probably affected his decision. Like I said, I feel bad about Zhu. But I feel bad about Juntang and Shiya more. Especially Shiya. After struggling all this time it seems like she has finally found genuine happiness and now this random girl with daddy issues is going to take it away from her. Only one episode left. I really wonder how this is going to end. Either way, I'm ready for a sad ending like Episode 6 implied. |
| Never really liked nor hate Zhu Zhu. But this episode changed it. Shiya did a lot of stuff to get this far with Juntang. And after Zhu Zhu saw what happened (the kiss). She's trying to steal Juntang... |

| The relationship between Juntang and Zhu is kinda weird. They're shown as knowing each other for a long time but it's like they don't know each other really well. They don't have intimate conversations. I guess they're both kinda closed off? Zhu says Juntang is the only one who knows about her family situation but he doesn't know anything lol. And he says he doesn't want to ask because it would be awkward and she would tell him if she wanted to. In a relationship like that, no one is going to be telling each other anything. They don't even seem close. Kudos to Zhu for being so brave. Both in regards to telling Juntang about her feelings but more importantly, for decided to move out of home with her abusive father. I relate - being under control for so long does make you used to it but it's not a good thing in the long run. It's useful as a survival mechanism. The end of that was the point where Juntang should've said he wasn't interested if he didn't make up his mind and he's choosing her. It would be cruel to agree to go on a date after she confessed to him. His behaviour in the cinema made it seem like he didn't like her that way but idk, he's weird. I don't know why people are saying that Zhu is selfish and expected Juntang to just wait for her? She said "I like you. I didn't know how to approach you. I thought that by slowly waiting until I graduated from college, I'd... I just want to tell you when I can afford to move out, I want to stay with you". She didn't tell him she expects him to wait for her. She's just telling him she hopes to be with him in the future because she can't while she has her dad controlling her. If she expected that, why didn't she tell him earlier? She's planning to move out now so they can date now because seeing him with other women made her realise she can't pretend her feelings don't exist. |
