Despite receiving clear proof of "CryptoGrab" malware and financial theft affecting Hong Kong and US residents, NiceNIC’s compliance team continues to employ intentional stalling tactics. They are currently demanding "one-by-one" reports for a coordinated criminal infrastructure—a classic bureaucratic maneuver designed to keep malicious domains active for as long as possible.

I have repeatedly reported multiple phishing and scam websites registered through NiceNIC, but their abuse and review teams are extremely slow and unresponsive. In most cases, no real action is taken, and these malicious sites remain active for weeks, allowing scammers to keep stealing personal and financial information.

Such negligence causes serious harm to users and damages NiceNIC’s reputation as a responsible registrar. I sincerely hope they improve their abuse handling process and start taking security reports more seriously.

Personally emailed and called Helen the CEO of the company so many times , they blocked me, Google puts a scam website at the top of the search and my mom fell for it she brought 600$ tv plan and was blocked by owner of the website, later we read on reddit what big scam this is and approached Nicenic and found out they are the ones sitting in hong kong doing all these scams, they should be criminally prosecuted.

I contacted NICENIC multiple times to report domains clearly connected to illegal drug marketplaces. Each report contained specific URLs, descriptions of the activity, and explanations of why the domains were being used for criminal purposes. Despite this, NICENIC’s handling of abuse reports has been consistently superficial and ineffective.

Instead of investigating the reported domains or applying any preventative measures, NICENIC simply forwards the complaint to the domain registrant. Once the registrant replies — often with generic or misleading statements — NICENIC forwards that response back to the reporter and considers the issue resolved.

This process gives the appearance of compliance while achieving nothing in reality. The reported domains stay active, the illegal content remains accessible, and the registrar takes no meaningful action. There is no follow-up, no request for additional evidence, and no indication that NICENIC evaluates the legitimacy of the owner’s claims.

From an external perspective, NICENIC functions as a passive intermediary rather than a responsible registrar. Repeated abuse reports involving the same types of criminal activity are handled in the exact same way every time, suggesting reliance on automation rather than genuine review.

NICENIC should significantly improve its abuse handling procedures if it expects to be trusted. Based on my experience, their current approach enables abuse rather than preventing it.

Nicenic Registrar does not respond to domain abuse complaints. I have sent many complaints about domains to the registrar, but they have not properly addressed any of them. I always attach screenshots and direct links to illegal content. Often, the ticket is closed immediately. In other cases, they send auto-replies and letters from the domain owner that do not correspond to reality. Thus, Nicenic supports drug trafficking on its domains.

I have a long-term and repeated experience with NICENIC as a registrar while reporting domains involved in illegal drug trafficking. Over many months I have systematically submitted detailed abuse complaints regarding narcotics-related domains registered through NICENIC, including evidence, URLs, screenshots, and explanations of the harm involved.

Unfortunately, NICENIC’s response pattern is always the same and completely ineffective. Instead of conducting any real investigation or taking registrar-level action, they simply forward my complaint to the domain owner. After that, NICENIC sends me the owner’s reply back — regardless of its content or credibility — and closes the case. No verification, no suspension, no mitigation, and no enforcement actions are taken.

This creates a closed loop where the registrar acts only as a message relay between the complainant and the domain owner, while systematically avoiding responsibility. In practice, this allows clearly abusive narcotics domains to remain online and continue operating without interruption.

What makes this especially concerning is that these are not borderline cases, but domains openly linked to illegal drug distribution. Despite repeated reports, NICENIC relies on automated responses and procedural excuses instead of fulfilling the basic duty of a registrar to address abuse.

NICENIC can improve by:

Performing independent verification of abuse reports

Taking real action against repeat offenders

Not treating domain owners’ replies as final proof

Aligning their abuse handling with ICANN obligations

Based on my experience, NICENIC does not provide effective abuse handling and should be approached with extreme caution.

I submitted a number of complaints to this registrar about domains engaged in illegal activities. I described all the problems in detail and attached evidence. But the registrar did not respond to the problem in any way. You will only receive an automated response from NICENIC. If you have any problems with the resource, don't waste your time contacting this registrar for help.
