They offered two choices: Basic for $642 or Flex for $773.67. I chose Basic and gave them my payment information and confirmed. I got a screen that indicated they received my request and were processing. I scrolled to the bottom of that page, which indicated that I was being charged $773.67. I contacted customer service and said that I had selected Basic and was charged $773.63. I asked if I was issued a Flex ticket. They said no, I was issued a standard economy class ticket without a carry-on or checked bag. Both bags were included with both the Basic and the Flex. I spent four hours haggling with them. They continually misrepresented my choices. Fortunately, with each step in the booking process, a new window was opened in my browser, and I hadn't closed any of them. I had screenshots to document what they had done. It wasn't until the end that they admitted I could cancel within 24 hours and get a full refund. They agreed to give me a full refund, but said it would take 20 business days to get my money back. My bank said the charge was still pending, and they could cancel it immediately. This was the worst customer service I have ever experienced, and it appears it was intentional.

I left a negative review at the time and gurufare kept replying that it wasn't their fault, if you don't keep responding to them trust pilot will remove your review, so here I am giving a 4 star review so it won't flag their system but please don't use them I had to buy $1,000 one way ticket just to get home. That was more then what I had purchased my previous round trip for, and of course Gurufare was of no help at all. Also they don't let you go back that far for obvious reasons so I'll have to fabricate a date, but it was in 2023.

We had to cancel a flight that we had booked through Gurufare. Gurufare said that for an extra $300 the cost of that cancelled flight could be applied as a credit for a flight in the next six months to anywhere that airline flies. We paid the $300 only to learn when we tried to use it that the credit was available only for a flight with the same origin/destination. Gurufare's reply says that they sent two emails confirming their policy, one before and one after the charge. Our memory is that the charge was made after a phone call where the representative did not mention the limitation. We have reviewed our emails from Gurufare around this time and only see one email from them, the one sent after the charge. We are not asking for a refund of the cost of the flight we cancelled, just a refund of the $300 paid to secure a credit that turned out not to be usable in the way it was described.

They were ok for booking flghts when there was no problem. If there is a problem forget it. When we missed a $1500 flight, they added charges and lied and lied. First $300 to "keep" the credit, then, finally out of pocket $2361 for a one way. The airline offers a similar round trip for a $1600.
Gurufare disputed my review, saying that all the relevant information was disclosed to us. Since it was verbal until after we had paid them and additional $300, it's our word against theirs. However, it makes no sense we would want to pay them $300 for a restricted one way fare that cost us more than a round trip.

I’m writing this to warn other travelers. I booked what I believed was a Brussels Airlines ticket through Gurufair.com for my mother’s trip from Douala to Las Vegas. The site looked professional and took payment through Affirm for over $1,800 (including a reschedule fee).
When my mother tried to check in, Brussels Airlines confirmed the reservation was invalid — the route shown (Douala → Yaoundé → Brussels → Frankfurt → Las Vegas) does not even exist on Brussels’ official network. Gurufair is not an authorized partner of the airline.
To save the trip, I had to pay Brussels Airlines directly at the airport to issue a real ticket. Gurufair then demanded even more money to “fix” the problem.
This site misrepresents airline partnerships and issues fake or partially ticketed itineraries.
If you value your money and travel plans, verify your booking directly with the airline or avoid Gurufair.com altogether.

Blatant Bait & Switch on the ticket fare. Tried to book a fare for $1316.xx and after entering all personal details, name, email, phone, dob & importantly all my Credit card details incl. CVC code and hit Submit, it switched the price on me to $2300 something. WTF? It cited some airline time policy, I thought the first time around I took longer. So went back, searched the same flight, it still showed the same $1316 price and this time around, I entered all the info within 3-5 mins and hit Submit and IT DID THE SAME EXACT THING !!!!

To GuruFare Customer Service, pls search your records for $1316 payment failures. There is no booking code or confirmation # since the booking failed. Also Aubree at gurufare.com reached out on her own when she saw the first booking failure. Pls contact her, she has all the details. But could not help me book at the same fare saying they do not control what the airline price is. So again, why display the lower price in your searches on your own website and advertise to Google Flights and on the internet and then shock the customer with the new price on payment processing. I can understand a small change, ideally should be none, but more than $1000 !?

I found my ticket through Momondo and purchased the ticket through Gurufare online. When I filled out the information and paid money through Affirm, the funds were withdrawn but the website reported that "There was an Error with your purchase. The booking did not go through. Someone will call you in 10 min." It was late at night and more than 15 min passed, I called Gurufare.
When I called I talked to a representative named Ziggy. He was very courteous and did have to explain that while Affirm did withdraw the money, it was not sent to Gurufare for the ticket and the reservation was not completed, he gave me information about how to call Affirm and helped me find another reservation for the same price and with an almost identical itennary. He sent the itennary to my email and stayed on the phone while I completed the full reservation and payment details. After it was complete he quickly composed the ticket and receipt and other information to my email and called me back to see if I recieved it and to see if everything was correct on the forms and if I had any questions.
It was very good to work with ziggy on this. He helped turn a negative internet booking error and potential loss of funds into a positive, supportive experience.
I appreciate the speed, courtesy and outreach and knowledge of the customer service at Girufare and specifically Ziggy and would work with Gurufare again and recommend it.
