Stock shown as available when it's not
I ordered a Varia VS4 from Bean Bros because their website showed it as in stock and even available for pickup.
After a week with no shipping update, they finally admitted the item was not in stock due to shipment delays
At that point, I requested cancellation and a full refund. I repeated this request multiple times.
Instead of processing the refund, they created a UPS shipping label and then claimed the order had “already been shipped”
— despite the fact that the label was generated after I had requested cancellation.
Creating a label is not the same as shipping an item.
This experience was frustrating for three reasons:
The product was listed as in stock when it was not.
Communication was vague and repetitive rather than transparent.
My cancellation request was ignored multiple times.
Delays happen. That’s understandable. But listing unavailable stock and then refusing to cancel when asked is not acceptable.
I would strongly advise others to double-check availability before ordering and be cautious if timing matters.

I had a very disappointing and unprofessional experience with BeanBros regarding a B2B purchase.
Before placing the order, I was explicitly promised that I would receive a proper B2B invoice. Based on this assurance, I proceeded with the order and completed the payment.
After the payment was made, I was informed that the item was suddenly “out of stock” — something that was not communicated beforehand. On top of that, the promised B2B invoice was never issued.
Since then, they have stopped responding to my emails entirely.
This is highly misleading and unacceptable business practice: promising B2B terms to secure a sale, failing to deliver the product as agreed, not providing the agreed documentation, and then ignoring communication.
I would strongly advise other businesses to be very cautious when dealing with this company.
Unfortunately quite disappointing
My experience with beanbros.co was unfortunately quite disappointing.
I ordered a Meraki espresso machine in January at a discounted price of €1,699. The very next day, the price returned to the regular €1,999, but the status of my order did not change. When I contacted customer support to ask about the status, I was informed that the machine was actually out of stock and if I wanted to wait for it — despite the website not indicating this at all and clearly stating that the product would be ready for pickup within 24 hours.
I was then told, after double checking, that the restock would happen by the end of January. By early February, nothing had changed. After contacting support again, I was informed that the restock was now expected “within approximately two weeks,” without any reference to the previous communication.
This inconsistent communication was frustrating. I therefore cancelled my order and explicitly pointed out that products which are out of stock should be clearly marked as such — as is already done for many other products on the website, which they promised to do.
What makes this particularly problematic is that even now, the Meraki espresso machine is still listed at €1,999 and still not marked as out of stock, despite clearly not being available.
Overall, the issue was not the delay itself, but the misleading availability information and shifting timelines, which made the ordering experience unreliable and unpleasant. Customer support was very responsive, still waiting for the refund on my PayPal.
Varia AKU Mini - just perfect
I have bought the Varia AKU Mini scale the after doubting if an Acaia scale would be better. But in the end I chose this one because of the nice OLED display but especially the Spro Mode as this one is not there on the Acaia.
I have it now working for about 1 week plus and the experience is really good, fast response, good modes and size wise perfect to fit under my machine.
The price is reasonable but also a lot cheaper compared to an Acaia and with more functions, so this was for me enough to go for this one.
Shipment was fast and smooth. Good packaging and a very nice surprise in the box with a small bag of coffee beans from BeanBros... so overall a very good and nice experience.

2,5 weeks delivery…
Took them 8 days to figure out the payment had failed after I contacted them and when the order finally shipped, it took another 8 days for it to be delivered = 2,5 weeks. Not good enough
Great product
Great product. I read about it buried in some Reddit forum needs better advertising as it's a godsend for using different burrsets. Would be good to include some instructions though I didn't realise this replaced the seals entirely until the second time I tried to use it.

I was lucky enough to buy 3 Varia brand devices at the best price in the world - Black Friday promotions. I sincerely thank the professionals of this company who always kept in touch via email with all the questions I had. Excellent shipping price, products very well protected. A million thanks.
Nothing could be better
Nothing could be better. Very good shop, a lot of valuable information about the products, good checkout and payment process. Fast shipping, good packaging, super accurate information about shipping. Used UPS, which is reliable accross borders (Germany).
The only kind of weird thing was a difference in the company name and who got the payment via PayPal. It turned out to not be a problem, thankfully.

In any case, pouring is precise, and the adjustable temperature and 90-minute keep-warm functions are genuinely useful. It has everything you need.
