DoorDash is wildly inconsistent and mildly expensive. Unfortunately they’ve also got quite a bit of the market. I’d suggest you avoid them if you can, I just cancelled my account after yet another late and messed up order; was offered less than 8% in “credits” so I could get a discount on my next screwed up order. Just a clown show all the way around.

Doordash is absolutely awful. It's very dangerous and I don't recommend them. The delivery process is bad if you order food, the driver's are not reliable. Driving for them sucks too. I would start out in a decent area and end up in the ghetto in some dark alley. You are taking your life into your own hands. BEWARE.

Took over an hour to receive order and it arrived cold and containers has leaked. We threw out the entree and contacted customer service

Absolutely horrible customer service! Expect a challenge to get compensation for a messed up order. My company pays for a dash pass and Am canceling it because of the horrendous system they have to recieve any assistance. You'll get hung up on, chats will end abruptly and will not honor their word or go an extra mile to keep a customer. Uber eats has better offers and know how to keep a customer. My business will no longer support door dash.

Absolutely horrible experience. They only delivered half of my order and DoorDash refused to reimburse me. I’m furious. I will definitely be taking my business to other platforms. I can’t believe they stole my money like this. I will be telling everyone I know. Extremely disappointed in doordash they should be ashamed of themselves.

I’ve been using DoorDash for some years now I’m even a dash pass holder, which is really bullshit because you still get all of the fees for maybe a dollar or less and I’m paying $10 a month for what.
I had several orders that came messed up so of course I called DoorDash and request a refund a couple of times they refund some money or what they thought was best for the issue then other times like now I ordered sonic for my husband‘s dinner tonight, I ordered a double cheeseburger meal with tater tots and chili sauce on top.
The Dasher delivers it and thank God I opened the bag to make sure because he’s not home from work yet and lo and behold. The receipt is correct with my name but is nothing of what I ordered. They sent me chicken strips, mozzarella sticks and regular crinkle fries. I contact DoorDash and I also did it through the app these FKERS talking about they can’t refund because I had a couple in the past that they did already so I cursed them out.
I’m like what is the pass three or four partial refunds have to do with this order. The representative told me herself that there was two orders for the same restaurant under the name Ebony and they must’ve gave a dasher the wrong order. clearly!
She said she was unable to give me a refund so I asked for a supervisor I get on with the supervisor she’s talking the same shit so now I curse her out. I’m like you guys are literally telling me that you see the issue and that I’m not bullshitting or trying to get a free meal but yet you can’t refund me because you gave me three credits in the past when I literally order off DoorDash four through five or five through six times a week? so three times and 30 days are you shitting me and u just told me that you see that they delivered the wrong order so I go OK so basically what you’re telling me is F my food and my money and I better eat what they brought? I said OK cool I heard you loud and clear so F DOORDASH, I’m not paying no dash pass no more and I’m about to switch over to Uber eats or GrubHub because even after reading the reviews I see that I’m not in the world by myself with this, they literally get more complaints than none in with the same issues or that the representatives are disrespectful and don’t help their situation.
It’s just is what it is and that’s F up when you’re dealing with people’s money and food I’m done with them. I hope somehow theres another lawsuit how it was before because I’ll be the first one to sign up. SMFH THEY SUCK….

They went to wrong address and I had to go outside and flag them down. The order was beer and wine and they couldn't deliver because my ID is expired. I'm 70 yrs old and it's obvious but they have strict rules and I understand however they won't refund the 60.00 I spent saying they have policies concerning alcohol and tobacco. I called the liquor store immediately telling them what happened and they said as soon as they bring the order back they contact Doordash to let them know. I also contacted them and they said they would refund my money. That was 5 days ago. When I contacted them today the AI said the refund was already issued and they can't do anything. I said I didn't get one so of course they hook me up to a "manager " that just happens to be in India with her children playing and yelling in the background and in her broken English she read from her manager training guide the same thing the AI told me. Don't use this company, they take your money and then refer your complaint to some mother who barely speaks English working from home probably being poorly paid to put food on the table for her kids.
No accountability for wrong orders, poor customer service reps
Only use DoorDash if you are ok with eating the cost of wrong orders bc they refuse to take accountability and correct issues with wrong orders. Their chat reps are rude and will disconnect the chat when they dont want to help resolve the problem bc they know they can get away with it & customer cannot get that same chat rep back! Ordered Nachos and they delivered it with ZERO CHEESE! Not one drop of cheese. Paid $18 for "Chips" delivery. Submitted PHOTO EVIDENCE of PLAIN CHIPS delivered AND CHAT rep said "wait an hour" to get decision for refund. Hour later, they determined that customer refund SHOULD BE DENIED! Never in my life any place on earth does any restaurant or any persons ever Called "NACHOS" with ZERO CHEESE as being Nachos. Melted CHEESE IS the MAIN INGREDIENT of NACHOS! Without it, it's just a pile of chips! You can buy a bigger pile of "chips" for $6 or less at ANY STORE & no one otders "chips" as a meal, but DoorDash reps did NOT CARE. They all believed the customer should just eat the $18 "Chips" they were delivered instead of the NACHOS they ordered. Dont waste ur time calling for Supervisor rep, bc Vincent either pretended to be a supervisor or he was just as incompetent & same amt of rudeness as a regular rep. Vincent also did not resolve the incorrect order BUT instead he had the audacity to ask "Did I resolve your issue?" ... I said "no" and he immediately and abruptly hung up & left me holding the $18 plain chips with zero resolution. Honestly, there are waaaaaay better delivery services out there who quickly resolve order mistakes such as GrubHub & Seamless. Both GrubHub & Seamless also has less fees attached. Definitely do not recommend DoorDash, unless you are ok with getting ripped off when u get wrong or incorrect orders.

DoorDash always goes above and beyond to do right by their customers, Bingky is an Outstanding person who I spoke on the phone with, she deserves recognition for the incredible work she does. They are open to improvements and their customer service currently is incredible. They deserve so much recognition and respect for physically logistically working out the kinks in real time to provide a valuable service. I am grateful DoorDash exists and I am so grateful that the amazing people behind it are open to improvements and willing to put in the work to make this a more fair and equitable world. I hope DoorDash continues the trend of providing services and opportunities to people, I hope it gets more equitable as we move forward through time 🥺🫶
