Believe all the bad reviews. I have had so many issues with Ecovacs. Had to send back multiple times - then had a replacement which was faulty and then another replacement which was faulty again- they now want ME to pay for the repairs and shipping for a machine they sent me as a new machine. But they won’t help me as the ORIGINAL machine which is long gone by now - is out of warranty. Of course it is - this has been going on for 2 years - almost to the day - strange that!
Avoid. Even tried emailing the CEO in that frustrated but of course it will go into the abyss they call customer service.
Repair process quite successfull
Repair process was successfull but when I received the robot, power cable was missing inside the box.
Unacceptable service and disregard for UK Consumer Rights
Ecovacs UK’s after-sales service has been a total failure. My robot vacuum was returned from repair on Jan 30 in an unhygienic state and missing essential parts (detergent tank), making it unusable.
Despite consulting Citizens Advice and explaining my statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, Ecovacs refuses to provide a refund. They insist on a third repair attempt, ignoring the "Final Right to Reject" after a failed repair. They have also failed to provide their ADR (Alternative Dispute Resolution) details despite multiple requests.
I have lost all confidence in this brand. I have already reported this to Trading Standards and will continue to pursue a full refund. Prospective buyers should be aware that "warranty" here does not guarantee a functional product.
Avoid buying anything from Ecovacs
Avoid Ecovacs , don't buy anything from this company. Product arrived damaged, no replies or support from Ecovacs. Wish I've done research about them before the purchase
Customer service never responds
Customer service never responds. It is almost two weeks after my machine stopped functioning and I sent a message to customer service and still no word back.
Did not arrive
Did not send the free accessories with my goat (garage and blades), and now they are ignoring my emails. Scam. Has been escalated for weeks and no response.
A week ago
A week ago, we purchased a robot cleaner from this company, and they sent a non-working product. Now I’m facing major problems with them. They are not responding to emails and are just dragging things out. They offered to let me keep the broken robot for a 5% discount, but I told them I want a replacement or a full refund. It’s been two days, and I still haven’t heard anything from them. I am very disappointed with their service.
Pathetic company
Pathetic company, products and service. Do not buy as you will regret it. Sent in my unit for servicing within the first year and came back worse. Sent it again and then it will not start again as well. Then they are asking me to send it a 3rd time and wont issue a refund. Terrible
Two Ecovacs mowers, both broke within months...
I purchased an Ecovacs Goat O500 robotic lawn mower, which unfortunately broke after just 6 months of use. As a replacement, I was sent an Ecovacs Goat O800, but that unit also failed after only 2 months and around 31 mowing cycles on a very small 90m² lawn. The mower kept spinning in the same spot and became unusable.
This has been extremely disappointing. Based on my experience, the product does not seem reliable, regardless of the model.
I’ve been in contact with Uros via email. While there appears to be some willingness to help, I’m not fully convinced yet. I’m currently sending the unit in for repair, but if it breaks again, I will be pursuing a refund through my bank. I don’t want to deal with two repairs per year for a product that’s meant to be relible.
Ecovacs’ marketing is excellent, but sadly, in my case, the product quality has not matched the promise. Overall, I’m very disappointed.
Multiple issues — product and after sale service
Paid £998 and the robot failed within a year, multiple issues. First warranty repair took over 5 weeks and it came back damaged, louder, leaving floors soaking wet, and still not emptying properly. Now I’m being asked to send this very heavy unit away again and wait weeks without a vacuum. Customer service has not been cooperative, offers no practical solution, and refuses to take responsibility for courier damage. Very disappointing for the price — I would not recommend this model.
Does not work as advertised and useless customer support
Ecovac is a scam artist company at best, one star is too generous.
In a nutshell : Products that does not work properly and zero support, you are on your own as soon as payment is done.
Purchased the Winbot Omni 2 Pro robot to clean my windows. I was not expecting perfection, but at least "basic window cleaning" with some imperfections.
The cleaning performed by the robot is totally not worth it, it cannot be considered cleaning (it just make them worst!). I carefully followed the instructions, purchased their expensive proprietary cleaning solution, etc. but without acceptable results.
Tried to contact support, providing lots of details, picture and proofs. After a few exchanges and time, they ended up saying "While we do not have an immediate solution that guarantees resolution, we are committed to continuous improvement. Your report provides crucial real-world insights that contribute directly to this process."... so basically, a political answer with no resolution.
They then asked for proof of purchase, which I provided.
To my surprise, after sending the requested information, the agent started over with the same questions they asked initially. After mentioning that we were returning back in circle to questions we already addressed (I still answered them as requested anyway), radio silence.
Huge loss of time and money, please don't buy from them.

Very disappointing experience with the ecovacs
Very disappointing experience with the Ecovacs X1 Turbo. The robot constantly shows errors during cleaning and often gets stuck for no clear reason. It fails to go under furniture, even though there is enough clearance. Instead of cleaning, it can spin in one place for 10–15 minutes, completely losing orientation.
Corner cleaning is poor, a lot of dirt is left behind and needs to be cleaned manually. Navigation and mapping are unstable and unreliable. For a product in this price range, the performance is unacceptable.
What makes the situation even worse is the terrible customer support. I clearly described the problem and sent multiple emails, but received zero responses. Complete silence.
I would not recommend this product or the company.
Faulty product, rude service, and a 6-month lifespan—Avoid
I am extremely disappointed with my Ecovacs experience. After only 6 months, my Deebot T50 has become completely unresponsive—the app won’t work properly and the robot itself is a brick.
I called customer service and spoke with an agent named Sandra. Not only was the advice "groundbreakingly" basic (have you tried unplugging it and plugging it back in, factory reset), but she was incredibly rude, spoke over me throughout the call, and eventually just hung up on me when I asked for a real solution.
To make matters worse, their "warranty" solution is to have me—the customer— find a big enough box and safe enough to post this giant, heavy machine back to them (Deebot T50), only to wait 3+ weeks for a repair. No courier collection, no replacement, and no accountability for a product that failed well within its first year.
Save your money and buy from a brand that actually values its customers. I'd rather throw this in the bin than deal with their support team again.
I will however, make it my goal to make sure everyone on Social Media knows how bad this company is.
Price Match Guarantee Not Honored and No Follow-Up from Support
I chose Ecovacs after carefully comparing several reputable brands and relying on their reviews, reputation, and advertised Price Match Guarantee. Unfortunately, my experience has been very disappointing.
I purchased two vacuums directly from Ecovacs. Shortly after my purchase, both items went on sale on their own website. I submitted screenshots of my receipts and the new lower prices using my coupon and requested a price-match adjustment.
Despite advertising a price match guarantee, Ecovacs offered only partial refunds that did not reflect the actual price differences paid. For one vacuum, I was offered $120 instead of the correct $260 difference. For the second, I was offered $27 instead of $50. When I asked how these amounts were calculated and requested a supervisor review, I received no follow-up.
I have attempted to contact the company multiple times by email and phone and have not received any response. At this point, I feel completely ignored as a customer.
I wanted to resolve this directly and remain a satisfied customer, but the lack of transparency, inconsistent application of the price match guarantee, and absence of customer support have been very disappointing. I am sharing this experience so other customers are aware before making a purchase.

Scrivo questa recensione per mettere in guardia sul modello Ecovacs DEEBOT MINI. Dopo l'aggiornamento al firmware 2.4, il robot è diventato tecnicamente imbarazzante.
FALLIMENTO ASPIRAZIONE: La spazzola rotante laterale ha subito un depotenziamento software ridicolo. Gira così piano che si ferma davanti a un semplice ciuffo di peli. Nonostante il filtro HEPA sia pulito e il robot sia stato resettato, non ha più forza. Un vecchio Roomba di 15 anni fa aspira 100 volte meglio di questo giocattolo tecnologico.
ERRORE DI PROGETTAZIONE IDRAULICA: Il sistema di lavaggio originale è inutile, il robot non butta acqua a sufficienza. Per non buttarlo via, ho dovuto effettuare modifiche strutturali pesanti: ho inserito una deviazione a Y nei tubi interni e creato una diga fisica per forzare l'acqua sui panni. Solo con queste modifiche ora vedo finalmente il "fango" nella vaschetta, segno che di fabbrica il robot faceva solo finta di lavare.

I am writing this to warn others about the Ecovacs DEEBOT MINI. Since the firmware 2.4 update, this robot has become technically embarrassing.
SUCTION FAILURE: The side spinning brush has been crippled by a software power reduction. It spins so slowly that it stops even when encountering a simple clump of hair. Despite a clean HEPA filter and a factory reset, it lacks any real suction power. A 15-year-old Roomba vacuums 100 times better than this "high-tech" toy.
HYDRAULIC DESIGN ERROR: The stock mopping system is useless; it barely wets the floor. To avoid throwing it in the trash, I had to perform heavy structural modifications: I installed a Y-split in the internal water lines and built a physical dam to force water onto the pads. Only after these manual hacks am I finally seeing "mud" in the dirty water tank, proving that the factory settings were just "pretending" to clean.
ZERO SUPPORT: The company systematically ignores technical feedback and releases firmware that makes products worse. The 1.4 Trustpilot rating is well-deserved. Unless you are an expert at rebuilding hydraulic and mechanical systems, stay away from this brand.
Poor customer service (dishonest)
Shipping took way too long, over two weeks to receive ecovacs products domestically is far too long. I have privacy concerns with aspects of the app that were never properly addressed or explained. The flagship ecovacs vac/mop robot shipped with absolutely no accessories or cleaning solution making it nearly unusable out of the box... Customer service for ultra premium products such as this needs to be second to none and throughout my several issues mentioned above, they were less than helpful. Long periods with no response to the extent I needed to initiate another ticket and patronizing solutions. With customer service this bad, what could one expect if warranty work were needed? If I had it to do over, I would not choose ecovacs, whenever I see it I'm reminded of my poor decision. Update: I received an email to rate my purchase from ecovacs. I gave them 1 star and wrote the same as above. Pressed the submit button and recieved a technical error code and I should try later. Any further attempts told me I had already rated them and could only do so once. What a scam...

All fine until your product has a fault just as the warranty ends. Then this company has no issue with breaching your consumer rights. Had I known this I never would have given them my money. I'd advise you avoid and give your money to companies that abide by the law and respect their customers.

Just about to dump a useless £700 Deebot that has had the same fault 3 times. Customer service are not bothered at all about trying to find a resolution to a problem. Avoid this brand at all costs.
