No response to my claim already 30 business days passed

I have purchased this insurance for my trip to Thailand. Based on their rating here I was confident that they are trustworthy. I had accident during my trip and had to cut my trip because my father got in emergency at home and he was in intensive therapy.
I have opened claim and sent all proofs. It is already 30 business days passed.
Heymondo was answering almost immediately, but insurance company they work with is keeping silence during all this period, no answer to any of email. No communication at all. It looks as scam. Everything is good until you need to file claim.
Hope someone will contact me

Professional, Responsive, and Truly Helpful

I have always used Heymondo for my trips, including long-distance travel such as Australia, and I have consistently had a very positive experience.

Recently, my airline rescheduled my return flight, which created an issue with the insurance dates. Heymondo handled the situation professionally and efficiently: they refunded the policy I had originally purchased so that I could easily buy a new one with the updated travel dates. The process was smooth and stress-free.

I have always found their customer service to be responsive, helpful, and quick to reply, which makes a real difference when you are dealing with travel changes or uncertainties.

So far, I am very satisfied with their service and I definitely recommend Heymondo for anyone looking for reliable travel insurance.

Abandoned at 50: Do NOT use for long-term travel

My experience with Heymondo has been extremely negative and, frankly, feels like discrimination.

Last year, I spent a long time speaking with several sales agents. I was very clear: I am traveling the world on a motorcycle with no return date. Based on their advice, I bought their most expensive "Long Stay" product. For a full year, I was a perfect customer and never made a single claim.

However, when I contacted them to renew my policy this week, they dropped a bombshell: they refused to renew me because I am now over 49 years old and already on my journey.

This is the exact same journey we discussed from day one! If you are over 49 or planning a trip that lasts more than a year, do not use this company. They will take your money when you are "young enough," but the moment you hit 50, they will leave you stranded in the middle of your trip without coverage. I feel completely let down and discriminated against after being a loyal, claim-free customer.

WARNING: Scam! You’d be better off without insurance

WARNING Do not go with Heymondo for travel insurance!!! I made a claim that took months for them to resolve and eventually they closed it because it had been too long. They will twist your claim so it isn’t covered by them. They are just moneymakers. Contacting them wait a pain, with at least a two week wait for a response. As well as terrible customer service with no care or sympathy.

Five hours waiting for the guarantee of payment!

Hospital did release us only almost five hours after they were done with their part because you did not release the final guarantee of payment, while the patient was feeling terrible. No empathy, no sense of urgency, poor escalation process.

Got a refund after I cancelled.

I bought a travel insurance for a trip to Brazil which I had to cancel. So I used their withdrawal form (google it as it’s difficult to find it on their app) and cancelled the insurance 3 days before my supposed trip. After 1 week and three emails back and forth in a friendly manner,they refunded the money after they asked me for the reason . Not bad for an insurance company in my opinion.
