SCARED SO WHAT offers a unique approach on personal and organizational change management. Our uniqueness is that while most organizational change management focuses on the organization, we focus on the individual AND the organization. Global change experts and research shows that organizational change has a high propensity towards failure. And when you ask why, the answer points towards lack of focus being given to the individuals expected to carry out the change. That's where we succeed by bridging the gap between the organization and the people who are intrinsically involved in the change. Our company logo: At the heart of our logo is a C which stands for CHANGE. It has dotted circles within it that represent multiple changes that happen to us each and every day. A horizontal wave crosses that C and represents change to be constant and ever flowing. The logo is then supported with the words SCARED which represents feelings, actions, and decision making. It then has the words SO WHAT to represent that ever flowing question of "SO WHAT can I do or what does it mean?" Together, SCARED SO WHAT encompasses a new personal change model to help people learn how to manage it for themselves. SCARED SO WHAT offers: Global Organizational Change Management Consulting SSW Certification Programs Transformational Leadership Programs Custom Change Inclusion Workshops Support for Business and Organizational Change inclusion Key Note Speaking on Transformational Leadership and Inclusive Change Management APP and Web Software licensing of the SSW Model Digital Account Management System to see change management come alive ITOL Accreditation Members of the CPD network

I really enjoyed and appreciated Dr Grant’s relaxed but professional style. He managed to really provoke a different way of thinking about organisational change and transformation that places people at the centre of it. Really interesting with practical frameworks that allow leaders to check themselves as they implement changes while allowing them to bring their teams on the journey with them.

During our training, myself and my colleague received outstanding training from Dr Grant as we were guided to become PCM Instructors.
The training is really well thought out. It allows for a busy schedule, but is also incredibly thorough and considered. Dr Grant is exceptional in his teaching style and probes on areas where you should be challenging your typically or traditional thought processes.
Highly recommended, and would advocate for this process at any turn.

I am delighted to say that I have become a SCARED SO WHAT Certified Personal Change Management (PCM) Coach based on Dr. Grant Van Ulbrich's Scared So What model. As a Coach, this is an absolute game changer for me to help my clients when they are navigating personal change - especially when fear is involved. There is a clear practical framework to help anyone process and move through change effectively.
Whether someone is facing career transitions, personal development goals, or everyday uncertainties, the app of the SSW model gives a simple yet powerful roadmap. I love the idea of using the app in a coaching session with a client and then encouraging them to use it in between sessions as a 'pocket coach!' The app has a seamless integration of the model, with a built-in quiz, a visual snapshot of your emotional state, and a template to document your personal action plan. Highly recommended for anyone ready to turn "scared" into "so what - let's go!" 5/5 stars!

I deeply believe Dr Grant has discovered a breakthrough! Something that will enable organizations to successfully transform and change - through focusing on the bit that matters most. The Human individual at the centre of the change.
Done the course this morning, expertly facilitated but also a real light bulb moment for me.

I worked with Dr.Grant and the Scared So What team to implement it at Royal Mail, primarily for the large sales team and for the Performance coaches to use it as a tool for their coachees.
It is a brilliantly simple and effective program for people to use. Giving them a framework to tackle and manage personal change is like a power up allowing people to manage their situations in a unique way.
I would recommend it to any organisation and individual who is looking to navigate change in a more personal and effective way.

The SSW model is a straightforward and highly effective model that closes the gap between organisational change and personal change. I love it's transparency and it's simplicity but this doesn't detract from it's effectiveness. To break personal change down in this way and shine a light on the personal elements of change is genius. Dr Grant is also a fantastic facilitator and a lovely guy. I highly recommend this model, you won't be disappointed.

SSW is a fantastic framework for supporting personal change. It is both innovative and simple at the same time, making it accessible and effective to use either on your own or with the help of a coach. Grant is highly communicative before, during and after the program and genuinely wants the best for the people he is working with. We had a fantastic day as a team with Grant and are looking forward to sharing SSW with the wider sales teams within our organisation.
