Do not pay airlines extra charges
I Needed to send a suitcase of clothing to australia and filled the form online. I was given a collection date and relevant documents and information.
The case was collected on the day arranged and I could track online its progress.
It arrived in Australia within about 4 days. After clearing customs it was delivered on approx day 8. The case had not been opened.
I was really pleased with this service and the cost was far less than the airlines charge for extra luggage per kg.
I would recommend and will use in future.
A good experience
We used send my bag to send some luggage ahead through Europe to be picked up at the end of our trip. Although the initial admin process took some time our bags made it to their final destination without much trouble. When we did encounter a small issue with customs in one country, the send my bag team resolved it for us so our bags could continue. Based on our experience I can definitely recommend the send my bag service.

Game of 2 halves
Ordering and collection is really simple. Definitely purchase the luggage labels. Collection was on time and efficient. Delivery was not. Over 10 days waiting -multiple emails and chat, nothing got resolved, eventually found the delivery company myself, went to the offices, they managed to locate the depot where my stuff was and we drove and picked it up ourselves.

We've used this company once already and had an absolute nightmare shipping our luggage to another country which ended up with 3 fake attempted deliveries which resulted in us getting a taxi to the main FedEx depot to retrieve our items!
We rearranged return delivery recently to find out that our delivery has been completed cancelled without our knowledge, they rearranged delivery for another day but now have been told it's CANCELLED AGAIN.
They have NO CONTACT with the delivery companies so they have no idea what's actually happening with your cargo.
BE WARNED.

I’m extremely frustrated with my recent experience. My bag was incorrectly categorised as commercial goods despite containing only personal items, and I was charged an oversized bag fee on top of the more than $100 I had already been forced to pay just to receive it. No invoice was provided for those charges, meaning I have no way to dispute them through SendMyBag.
I know I’m not the only one dealing with this, as I’ve already shared my experience with over 350 people. I hesitated to send another bag after hearing similar stories from others, but your website reassures customers that “around 5% of our shipments to the USA are miscategorised by US Customs with c. $25–100 in associated fees being applied.” Based on what I and many others are experiencing, this does not seem to reflect reality. At best, it’s outdated; at worst, it’s misleading. But then if they told customers they have to spend an extra $100 per bag you wouldn't many customers would they?
The SMS tracking service is also disappointing. Being sent a link to online tracking is not a tracking service — I expected proactive updates about the progress of my shipment, not a text directing me to do the work myself.
I genuinely hope the company makes good use of the money they’ve taken from me, because I fully intend to share my nightmare experience widely so others can make informed decisions before using this service.

The perfect option for excess luggage!!!
I have used this service for myself and my family for years between Australia and Europe. The cost compared to adding additional luggage to the airline ticket is always way, way below half cost and even better, they deliver to your house!! Be sure to pack carefully as the case can show signs of trauma 😉, as to be expected with all air travel, but I usually send clothing, shoes and personal items packed well so no damage to them. I recommend and have recommended to friends and family!!! 🤩🤩🤩
