Turbro is an AMAZING company

Turbro is an AMAZING company. This is my second purchase from them. I had an older Turbro fireplace that I bought years ago and was having a problem with the heat. I emailed them and they were incredibly helpful, trying to troubleshoot my out of warranty fireplace. They made many suggestions and finally came to the conclusion that it wasn’t fixable. When I told them I was going to order a new one, they offered a discount with the purchase. Friendly, helpful, knowledgeable people who know how to take care of their customers. I am a customer for life!

Awful Customer Service with Sky

Updated: 2/9/26 The correct remote was finally sent to me. Issue resolved!

Bought a fireplace unit a few years ago. This Jan 2025, the remote to the unit stopped working.
This unit itself still works, however when we went to use Jan 2025, the remote no longer worked. I saw a few other reviews that said this also. We changed the batteries and jumped through all of the hoops testing it because that’s what custom service wanted. They said that most likely the remote no longer worked so I bought a new one. Well this one doesn’t work either and again, I jumped through hoops with CS. The fireplace insert is not accepting the signal from the remote so I requested a return of remote since unit is out of warranty. More hoops with their CS who insisted to return the remote, I must take a video of both to prove the remotes did not work! I must show there is no red light! Well if the new remote would have worked, I would have kept it! Sent the stupid video game of both and still no RMA! Called them and got the same spiel, except now I have to answer more questions and send ANOTHER video of the PACKAGING the remote came in! I will NEVER do business with this company again. I’m going to report them to Amazon. I don’t recommend you buy from them.

Our Turbo fireplace worked great but…

Our Turbo fireplace worked great but was a bit noisy. I contacted Turbo. They asked me to send a video with sound. Once they received the video Turbo sent a replacement unit to me at no charge.

From first contact with Turbo to receiving a replacement unit happened very painlessly and quickly. Nice to have a company take such competent care of their customers.

Helpful customer service

When I did not receive my humidifier via mail because the package was stolen and contacted Turbro customer service, they were extremely helpful in getting me a replacement and ensuring that was informed of shipping dates and I received the product this time.

The customer service was excellent

The customer service was excellent. I purchased a small electric fireplace in October for our four seasons room. It was easily assembled and was a nice addition, for a month. Then it died. We did the typical things; we unplugged, checked the circuit, etc. That week I had shoulder replacement surgery so didn’t follow up with the warranty until December.
Unfortunately, I was not expecting much as companies so often disappoint.
It was such a pleasant surprise to get an immediate response with clear instructions on how to proceed. I simply had to make a video of trying to get the fireplace to work and send it via email. Even an 80 year old was able to do it!
Anyway, after a quick review, a replacement was ordered and is on the way to keep us warm.
As a consumer I understand that things aren’t perfect. But, knowing a company will stand by a defective product makes all the difference. To be treated with respect, to be valued is priceless.
I thank Marcus and the customer service team for making me a happy and dedicated customer.

Great product, great service.

I purchased a room heater from turbo because it looked nice and I needed more heat in a room but did not want to start a fire in the fireplace. Upon receiving item it looked very good but would not start and stay on. I contacted customer support and Sky helped me get a replacement sent. Once received it started like a charm and makes the large room very comfortable. I liked it so much I purchased 2. Thanks turbo, and Sky, you have a great product AND service.

Great unit for the cost and even better customer service!

This unit is really one of the best portables I've ever used. My office has no insulation and a ton of windows and it takes a long time to heat or to cool and I love the fact that this unit provides both great AC and great heating as needed. I had minor issues basically due to my lack of understanding some of the things in the manual and Ansel at customer service was absolutely terrific. I always heard from him inside of 24 hours when I emailed my questions and he always explained everything thoroughly and patiently. I live in the US where customer service is a dying breed and has been for a long time. Ansel could hold seminars on how to be a good customer service rep because it comes to him so naturally. Good product, good company, great customer service!

12000 Btu 115 volt Turbro Finnmark 20 seer. Looking at many youtube videos, I decided to go with Turbro Brand, 5 Year Warranty and a Phone Number for Support. I had it installed and was amazed at the thermostat turned up to 90 degrees in heat mode and it was putting out 133 degrees on the indoor head unit, cut the thermostat down to 60 on the cool mode and it was putting out 46 degrees.

Good Warranty & Honored
