Timely delivery

I could follow the route and progress if my package and put the dogs safe before arrival. The delivery person was respectful of our property and delivered within the time slot given. The package was not damaged.

I recently had the need to use a premium courier service for several packages. DHL Express UK turned out to be superb. Each item was picked up on time and delivered back on time. App information was great and kept me informed at every stage. Couldn’t ask for a better experience. Would definitely recommend and DHL will be my first choice of courier from now on.

Useless company

Parcel dispatched using next day service on Monday 9th Feb, supposed to arrive on 10th.

Driver alleges "could not get access to property" at 6pm even though it was being sent to a newsagents that is open until 6.30pm.

Then it was rescheduled to Thursday 12th (for some reason they did not want to bother themselves by re-attempting on the Wednesday).

Now today (Thursday) I see it has been re-scheduled yet again to Friday, not that there has been any notification sent to me - this is all through their tracking site.

This is not acceptable. A next day delivery service that takes 4 working days?!

Tried to contact them through their business WhatsApp, but they can't be bothered to reply to it (it's been over 24 hours). What is the point of advertising a service to contact them that they don't use?

Called their service number, lady said she would call the depot and then ring me back, have heard nothing.

Useless company with appauling customer service. I just want my parcel, is that too much to ask?

DREADFUL DELIVERY

Dreadful! Parcel just thrown on the steps outside our house.
1. I was at home
2. I left clear instructions of where to leave it if I wasn’t home. That wasn’t on the steps!!
Absolutely hopeless and totally inefficient.

Delivered to a house half a mile away...

Claimed to have tried to deliver 3 times, but no evidence of courier actually coming to our address (we were in and other parcels were delivered succcessfully). Eventually delivered to a house half a mile away. We recovered the parcel only because we know the people at the house it was delivered to. Pathetic.

My luggage was supposed to have been…

My luggage was supposed to have been delivered yesterday the 10th of February. I sat up until 12 midnight waiting for it to come. I tried ringing various numbers with no response. This morning 11th. February, I had a text message to say the luggage was being delivered today. With no apology. Just before lunch, the luggage arrived.
This poor performance by DHL has caused me much stress, as there were items in the luggage that I had relied on arriving yesterday. This was supposed to be an express delivery, which clearly it was not. There was no acknowledgement of the poor performance by DHL. Or of the fact that none of the messages I left last night had been answered. The whole experience has been very stressful and not as expected.
The only reason that there was a star at all on the satisfaction rating was because the gentleman that actually delivered the parcel this morning was very helpful and very polite.
I expected better of D.HL.
