I recently visit Otto car Hendon The Hyde i query about TFL approved dashcam when I ask them behaviour was not friendly I was asking them questions about camera and how that worked they was in hurry not giving proper answers to my questions and ask me to wait 30 min then they can talk camera fixing technician was very much strange kind of person and bit rude and not even friendly approach I decided not to give them business and I walk out becouse of them unfriendly behaviour that’s my experience so I decided to share here people and Otto cars manager can see to improve them customers services skills thanks ….

the matter is about:My brother apply to work for otto he had 2 interweus and he recived e-mail that he don't have permit to work in Netherlands but he is from Bulgaria and Bulgaria is in Eu from 2007.
When i called to ask why he recived this e-mail some bulgarian lady replay that he don't speek English (his level is basic) and that is the reason to not hire him.
I don't think the other polish peopele who work there speeks english becouse a lot of possition in the sait recuaire polish only .
Not to mentrion how rude ware they on the phone and still didn't geve as real reason they did not hire him.

I ordered 2 pillowcases on the 25th of February. They cost 64 euros. On the website, it said that i should wait 2 weeks for delivery and that i can choose a pickup point as my address.
3 weeks later i receive a message from postNL that the package is being returned to sender. After calling postNL, they found out that OTTO gave the wrong address on the package. It was the pickup point address.
I called to cancel the order and request a refund. I was told that they would cancel and that the refund is on its way. After 8 calls over the course of a month, to a rude and unprofressional customer service, not only did they try to send me another package, that i specifically told them i dont need, they also did not return my full amount.
Customer service is clearly unprofressional with calls ranging from, i dont have access to your order history to "oh you have to tell us specifically by calling that you want a refund". Amazing how low this company swoops in 2025. The live chat closes on you when you try to call them.

The Quality is 4+(out of 5). The item is 100% as described . It looks nice. I like it a lot!

Shipping was super convenient with all beforehand notifications.
I purchased a jacket from OTTO's website, and after only a few weeks of use, the stitching came undone. Before I could even return it, they sent a replacement. I immediately packaged the original jacket for return using the replacement's packaging. Ironically, as I was taking the replacement off the hanger to put it in the box, the stitching on that jacket also came apart in a different place! I dropped off the first return at POSTNL on December 19th.
The very next day, December 20th, I had to return the second jacket because the lining's stitching had also failed after just 30 minutes of wear! Since I no longer had the original packaging from the first replacement, I used a different box for this second return.
To my complete shock, OTTO has refused to process the first return. When I contacted them, they claimed the package weight didn't match the original shipping weight and therefore they wouldn't accept the return or issue a refund! This is absolutely unacceptable. I paid nearly €160 for a poorly made jacket, returned it using the packaging they themselves sent (the second return in a different box was accepted without issue, mind you), and they are refusing to acknowledge the return and refund my money.
I STRONGLY advise against buying from this store. The quality is terrible, and their return policy is a complete scam. They clearly prioritize avoiding refunds over addressing their product quality issues. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

I ordered a jacket during a 20% discount sale, but it arrived with a broken zipper. I contacted Otto via chat to request an exchange, but the chat was unexpectedly disconnected. During the disconnection, Otto arranged a replacement jacket without my clear consent, and the replacement turned out to be more expensive than the original one I purchased.
As a result, I now have to pay extra for the jacket.
While the product quality might be acceptable, the customer service is absolutely terrible. They haven’t taken responsibility for delivering a defective product, nor have they addressed why this issue happened in the first place.
To make matters worse, the response time is painfully slow—it took them over a month just to confirm my return for the broken jacket.
This was my first order, and I will never shop with Otto again.

Here I was finally able to find the quality and products I was looking for. First I ordered a wardrobe. Now I'm waiting for two more large orders: a chest of drawers from this series and a shelving unit for the kitchen.

I have been waiting for a refund for a month - almost 600 euros. This is a scandal, they do not want to return the money, they do not reply to emails. They are illegally holding money for the returned chest of drawers. I am reporting the matter to the Consumer Ombudsman.
After more than a month, after a fight, after a letter from the Consumer Rights Office, they only returned my money. Without interest. The worst store.

Dear Otto customer service,
We normally don't bother writing a complaint, but my recent experiences with your company leave me no other choice. The treatment by your customer service and the handling of my orders are downright scandalous.
On October 6th we (me and my girlfriend )
placed an order (customer number 29683003). The 'Welltime bathroom set' (article number 12173801) was delivered quickly, for which we are grateful. However, the package was missing two handles, which meant we had to contact your customer service. Fortunately, we have now received these handles.
However, the other half of our order, consisting of the 'INOSIGN Dressoir Zolder' (article number 2305612514) and 'INOSIGN Wandmeubel' (article number 1386362248), would be delivered within two weeks. After waiting three weeks, we decided to contact your customer service again because we saw an error message via the track & trace. We where told that the items would arrive that same week, despite the error message in the track & trace. Despite our concerns, we waited patiently, but nothing arrived.
When we contacted them again, we were told to be patient and that the delivery would probably take place in week 44. Unfortunately, this did not happen either. After several attempts to contact them, we were finally informed that the packages had been lost, something we had already discovered ourselves via the track & trace. The items were reordered, but only the TV cabinet was reordered, not the dresser. In addition, we were promised a 10% discount, but this was also not settled.
After having contacted again and being treated unfriendly on the phone, we finally spoke to someone who indicated that we should just wait for a response from the back office system. After this, there was no response. Ultimately, we were advised to ask for the money back, which I did.
To our great frustration, only the amount for the TV cabinet has been returned and not that of the dresser. After having contacted them at least 14 times, we have completely lost our patience. Your customer service has repeatedly disappointed and lied to us and we do not feel taken seriously at all.
Although Otto claims in reviews on platforms such as Trustpilot to be willing to assist customers by inviting them to reach out via email, the reality is often different. After following their suggestion and sending an email, Otto fails to respond. This approach gives the impression that these communication invitations are merely intended to project a positive image outwardly, without any real intent to provide solutions.
This practice is highly disappointing and reflects a lack of professionalism and customer focus. It is rare to encounter a company that so blatantly neglects its responsibility, which is concerning for customers seeking reliable and attentive service.
We demand that this matter be resolved immediately and that the full amount for the dresser be returned as soon as possible. In addition, we expect appropriate compensation for the enormous inconvenience we have experienced.

I have ordered from this company twice but the second delivery was appalling and I won't come back anymore.
First order - issue with delivery to my floor because there are two flats on the same address and apparently they only had allotted time to deliver to the first floor. Customer service had assured me that it's fine up to floor 4. The delivery staff was very unhappy to deliver to floor 3.
Second order - even though OTTO advertises delivery to your floor and unpacking, they had booked it to the front door! I ordered furniture so the 40 EUR delivery was very much needed. So I had to pay additional 30 out of pocket to the delivery people to take it up. That is 70 EUR in total.
Another issue, the listing said approximate delivery in 3 weeks and instead it took 6 WEEKS. I attempted to get some information from the customer service but I was told to be patient twice and also they refused to add the floor number. Altogether, appalling service.
The expensive delivery that they advertise is NOT to your desired location and they definitely do not unpack your items.

I placed an order 8 days ago and have tried to trace my order twice - all customer service can tell me is that there has been a "delay" and that they cannot say when my order will be delivered. Super poor service. I will not be ordering from Otto again.
