I paid more than half the cost of my Adidas item, to Return it to Ssense..
My advice if you buy through Ssense is to be very careful and think twice . I bought 2 identical pairs of Adidas trousers in different sizes at Christmas, so that my daughter would be able to choose the best fit. Obviously, that meant I had to return one pair. The pair I was returning cost £65.00, and I was shocked to see that I only had £31 returned - I was charged £34 for the return fee - more than half the cost of the trousers!! Had I known that in advance, I wouldn't have gone near them. Basically, I paid £99 for the trousers I kept, that should have been £65.00. If I had only bought one pair, and returned them, I would have paid £34.00 for nothing. I will certainly never buy from them again.

This is the worst purchase ever!!! Guys, don't buy anything from them, they are scammers!!! I bought a dress!!! Oh my god, it doesn't match the photo on the website at all!!! The quality, the style, it's just awful!!! Also, you won't get your money back; even the bank refused, I have to send it back to China myself!!! I paid $246 and the shipping cost to China is $150. They are scammers!!!! Don't buy from them!!! Once again, these are scammers! They don't specify anywhere that you need to go to China!!! And they give a fake address! You won't receive any money or anything!! Be careful!!! Everything is of terrible quality!!! They don't make any concessions!!! They offered me a $20 compensation when my dress costs $246!!! Terrible customer service
I am writing to formally complain about an order I placed with SSENSE that never arrived.
After noticing that my package was missing, I contacted customer service and was told that a claim would be opened and that it could take five days or more to be resolved. However, it has now been beyond that timeframe, and I have received no updates, no follow-up, and no meaningful communication regarding the status of my claim. The lack of transparency and poor communication has been extremely frustrating. As a customer, I expect timely updates, especially when an order is missing and I am left without either the item or a refund. Being told to wait without any further contact or explanation is unacceptable. I am requesting a full refund. I hope this matter can be addressed quickly and professionally.
Edit: They have refused to refund me for my lost package. I will update this review if anything changes.

Return refused
I am extremely disappointed and frustrated with this entire experience, and I feel completely unheard as a customer.
I ordered a pair of shoes from your store for almost €800, which is a huge amount of money for me. When the shoes arrived, I immediately noticed that they were too small. On the exact same day that I received the package, I sent the shoes back as a return. I did everything correctly and responsibly on my end.
I am located in the Netherlands, and international shipping obviously takes time. The return shipment took around 20 days, which is completely normal for an international return and entirely out of my control. Despite this, you are now telling me that the return is not accepted because it did not arrive within your return window.
I find this absolutely unacceptable.
How can a return be rejected when:
• The shoes were returned immediately on the day of delivery
• The delay was caused by international shipping, not by me
• The amount involved is nearly €800
• The product is unused, because it simply does not fit
I did my part as a customer. I cannot control postal services, customs, or international delivery times. Punishing a customer for something they have no influence over is unfair and unprofessional.
Now I am left without my money and without shoes that I can even wear. This situation has caused a lot of stress and frustration, not only for me but also for my family. Losing this amount of money is not something I can just ignore.
I expect this issue to be taken seriously and resolved properly. At the very least, this situation deserves understanding, communication, and a fair solution. Refusing a return under these circumstances is unreasonable and damages your credibility as a business.
Unless this issue is resolved, I cannot recommend this company to anyone. This has been one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had.

After being a lawyer customer for many years, they have failed me as a customer and didn’t take responsibility for the package that was lost after they sent it out no proper documentation and was held by custom over a month when they decide to release the package I was not home. I was away in vacation and they now refuse to offer me a refund shame on this company after years of me being a loyal customer. They should’ve took responsibility for their action. Sorry, but there is no resolution. They had ignore me numerous time and the only time they reply is to tell me they cannot provide me a refund so that means there’s no resolution. If they have provider the proper documentation to custom on time I would’ve got my item on time a whole month it took to provide custom that documentation.they don’t want to take responsibility on their end.

I returned a pair of sneakers because they did not fit. I used the return label provided by SSENSE and dropped the package at the courier location. At the drop-off, I specifically asked whether I needed an outer box and was told it was not required and that they would handle packaging.
SSENSE later rejected the return because the shoebox arrived slightly damaged and said it violated their policy. I explained the situation, acknowledged their written policy, and asked for a reasonable exception since I followed the instructions I was given at the drop-off location in good faith.
Instead of working toward a solution, they denied the return outright and reshipped shoes that do not fit back to me without meaningful discussion. I proposed multiple alternatives, including store credit or applying the value toward a replacement purchase. They ignored those requests and stopped responding entirely.
The result is that I am stuck with an unusable item despite making a genuine effort to return it properly. The issue is not the policy itself — it is the refusal to engage in reasonable problem-solving and the lack of customer support once escalation was requested.
Very disappointing experience for what is supposed to be a premium retailer.
Update: SSENSE replied publicly claiming a resolution was provided. That is not accurate.
The only “resolution” was that they denied the return and shipped the shoes back to me despite an active dispute and escalation request. The item still does not fit, and my follow-up emails proposing reasonable alternatives have gone unanswered.
I would happily revise this review if SSENSE actually engages and offers a real solution. At this point, the issue remains unresolved.

If I could give negative stars, I would. I had a package stolen from my mailroom and provided proof of theft to this janky company and they still refused to refund me or re-send the item I ordered. The item, by the way, was probably one of the cheapest on their website. They provided zero help and had a robot deny my claim. Thank you sm for nothing <3

I had issues with two leather jackets that were advertised as smooth leather but in reality leather on both jackets had very worn look in places looked damaged.Jackets were returned but in one box.I was refunded for one only more expensive one other one was not refunded because one label was used.They did not answer questions who received parcel they seem not to know and because returned as one box not two refund was refused.I was told to open bank dispute.This is so low to offer such thing.I was told to escalate to manager is IMPOSSIBLE and supervisor made final decision not to refund.But agent I spoke to said one box should be fine.It does not sound right to me.I would love to know who opened the box who processed the return can they speak to that person? They must have cameras?I would like to discuss this with someone above supervisor please.Thank you
