Terrible, waste of money!

Terrible. Not worth the paper it is written on. We broke down as the alternator has gone on our car. A1 are only paying a tiny fraction of the cost including a ridiculously low payment for labour. They are claiming the job will only take an hour, paying labour at a rate below any garage I know of, and all the parts that are required to complete the job other than the alternator itself are not covered.

Dear Tara,
Thank you for the review.
The warranty will only cover the failed item and the book time to replace said failed item, it doesn't cover good engineering practice and the labour to commence good engineering practice.

Terrible quality product

Terrible quality product. Emailed as they arrived all bubbly and with printer toner marks all over them. I've not heard back from customer service. A huge waste of money and resources.

Terrible

Terrible! I have been overcharged by over £300 and despite numerous attempts to get this sorted and reimbursed through the LiveChat, emails sent, complaints logged (and supposedly replied to within 7 days but this has also been ignored). Will now be seeking legal advice.

DO NOT ORDER ONLINE - damaged item and cannot return

DO NOT ORDER! Item was sent with Evri who are notoriously poor for deliveries. Arrived a month late and damaged. Requested a replacement was sent and was told I could only return and then get a refund and re-order. This means I have to pay postage over again. I also cannot return as a printer is required for all return options near me and we do not have a printer. Requested a manager contacted me and have been completely ignored. Terrible customer service and will be reporting to Trading Standards.

Not for thick hair

I had high hopes for the Pony-O but it does not work for thick hair. The XL doesn't fit my hair through the diameter and the bar cannot support the weight of my hair. I've tried them in my 4 year old daughter's hair and they work but they're too big for her really. Unfortunately, you have to pay for returns so I'm left with a very expensive set of unusable bands and bars unless I want to spend yet more money for them to inevitably be lost by Royal Mail.

If I could rate lower

If I could rate lower, I would. It is our 2nd claim with HomeProtect. The first was handled by a loss adjuster and I would award 5*. The current claim is being handled by Davies Group and is being done so shockingly. Our home is uninhabitable due to a leak at the end of April, we have tried to keep their costs to a minimum by living in a relative's home, drying has finished, yet they won't agree to works commencing on our property to make it habitable. I have phoned every day this week requesting a call back and not received one, it's now 1730 on Friday and I have been on hold for 45 minutes. DO NOT USE HomeProtect purely due to their case handling.
