  • Not many people realize this because of misogyny, but it's actually okay for girls to hit people with axes so hard they explode into bloody giblets.

  • Color Gang are done, might change some of them without making another proper sheet though, but for now I'm content with them

I'm confused on if I should do King and Navy next or the rest of the Hollow Heads.

    Kinda random but-

talking to friends about plurality-related forgetfulness is so funny cus they’ll be like “why don’t you just keep a diary?”

like girl. Does it look like we have the energy or motivation to write about our day?

sure, happy to write a 10k fic abt vampire yaoi but a diary…? No. Never.

REALLLL. we do try to journal, and the impact it has is basically nothing tbh. people dont realize that writing a journal means that *everyone else who fronts* has to keep up with the journal’s contents, which may not seem like much but adds up to a not insignificant amount of time and effort that is extremely difficult. for some systems, it works. for us, it helps only 2-3 times a month. it’s nice to have a record, but the record isn’t as useful as you’d think.

it feels similar to when people recommend getting a planner for ADHD. it’s not a tool designed with this disorder in mind.

  • I know it's kind of a thing to joke about people in denial about being a furry but Being A Furry is enough of a specific subculture (albeit a large one with very diversified interests) that I really don't think 'drawing anthropomorphic animals' in of itself is a sufficient qualifier.

Taking it into really broad pretentious terms, anthropomorphism in art as a means of communicating human conditions, beliefs, ideals, desires, etc, is to some extent a human universal which this subculture is certainly an example of, but it IS just an example (you can joke about historical forms of anthopomorphism in art as being the same thing as furry art all you want but like, it's just not lol). Taking it into smaller terms are you really A Furry if you have no interest in engaging with any aspect of the subculture besides the act of drawing people that look like animals?
