Leeta- “Really? Who’s the lucky female?”
R- “No female. Just me.”
L- “I’m sorry.”
R- “Sorry enough to do something about it?”
L- “I don’t think Julian would approve.”
R- “We could ask him.”

i like to think that after Keiko’s school closed down, Rom popped by to- perhaps a tad awkwardly, but sincerely as well- thank her for being a positive presence in his son’s life
ROM: You mean Moogie?
QUARK: Yes, I mean Moogie. Stop calling her by that infantile nickname.
ROM: But she likes it.
QUARK: Well, I don’t.
ROM: Well, she does.
QUARK: You see? You always take her side.
ROM: Somebody has to. After all, she is our mother.
Despite loving trash in general, Quark does not like living in Rom’s trash. He also doesn’t like his teeth grinding, incessant ear-picking, or his resemblance to a Pakled refuse merchant. Quark gives Rom an older brother lecture, but cleaning is Nog’s job, and since Nog is visiting Moogie, Rom refuses to lift one finger to clean anything.
