Jeff Fowler was at Sonic Revolution, he talked about Keanu voicing Shadow. He did extensive research on the character & did different takes with his voice lines to get him right (footage source)

In a 2020 demo reel from Hong Kong based company Simage Animation and Media Ltd, a mysterious animation has surfaced featuring Astro Boy and Tezuka Star System characters, including Atom, Pluto, Son Goku (My Songoku, not the Dragon Ball character), Rock Holmes, Hosuke Sharaku, Hyakkimaru, Unico, Ambassador Magma, Shunsaku Ban, Siddhartha (Tezuka's Buddha), Triton, Big X, and Princess Sapphire.

The animation depicts Atom and other Tezuka Star System protagonists battling Pluto in a fictional Japanese city.

The purpose of the animation is unknown. It does not appear to have any connection to Astro Boy Reboot or Team Phoenix (which was released after this animation was made).

It's so so important to show badass female characters being moms. It's important to write intelligent cool female characters with deep inner lives also being good parents to their kids. It's actually essential to the future of our society, I think.

Because when people either a.) write mothers as only there to play supporting character to the kid, or b.) write badass women only choosing to be childless, it sends the message that being a mom is for lame loser women who don't have or deserve personalities and lives. And who would want to be that?

And it's not impossible. We do it all the time for men, male characters frequently get to be awesome and also be dads. There's even a whole trope about Badass Dads raising Badass Kids while they trek across the post-apocalypse or whatever. Why can't we give women the same treatment?
